“We hired The Bridal Beauty Team for our wedding hair and makeup for two brides and our moms/sister. Kate was responsive throughout the process, even helping us navigate a second trial after concerns during the first one. My wife and I loved our hair and makeup on the day of and it held up great throughout the day. We got ready at their salon, which was a great decision for us - the decor is a little funky which may or may not go with your aesthetic if you are having photography taken! But the space is big and was great for people to hang out. We especially loved Jasmine who did amazing work and went above and beyond to help our morning run smoothly!“

“Overall, we had a great experience with Windy City Glam and I especially appreciated how committed they were to making sure I felt happy and confident for my wedding day.

One thing that’s helpful to know as a future bride is that their model is a little different—you book through the company and are paired with hair and makeup artists rather than selecting them directly. Because of that, I highly recommend sending photo inspiration in advance, as I suspect that helps guide artist pairing and expectations.

My first hair and makeup trial unfortunately wasn’t a fit for me, but I really appreciated that Windy City Glam covered the cost of retrials and worked with me to get me paired with a different team. My second trial still wasn’t 100% there, but I made a few adjustments at home afterward and sent detailed feedback through their coordinator (communication goes through the company rather than directly with the artists, which felt a little unusual at first but ultimately worked).

By the wedding day, they came fully prepared with all of my notes and feedback. Hung (hair) and Nicole (makeup) absolutely delivered. They were both so pleasant to work with, incredibly receptive to feedback in real time, and continued making small tweaks until I felt completely happy with the final look.

I truly couldn’t have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out, and they also did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids. Another huge plus was how well everything held up—I danced all night, and both my hair and makeup stayed looking great through the end of the reception.

While the process took a little trust and communication, I really appreciated the team’s willingness to make things right and ensure I felt my best on such an important day.“

“Wedding planner here! I recently worked with Ioana & Jen for a wedding in Colorado and my only complaint is that they aren't closer, as I would recommend them for every wedding!!! Not only did they do an absolutely gorgeous job with the bride and her bridesmaids, but they stayed all the way until after the ceremony for any touch ups, which I have literally never seen before! They are so talented and kind, AND although this has nothing to do with HMU, when the wind picked up and literally blew the tablescape away, they were right there helping me getting everything put back together and I can't say how much I appreciated working with both of them. 10/10“

“Update no longer able to get my hair done at the salon due to ambulating problems and the sink and pain issues with medical problems. Want to see if Candace will come to my home to give me haircut at least… I will call her soon as haven’t had a haircut since this posting as I am at home, constantly due to medical issues. “Best keratin treatments in the Chicagoland area, and Alma is very knowledgeable and will help you with anything you need. I just got my third keratin treatment from here—they are so good that I drive an hour to get them. Each time my hair turns out silky smooth, and the results last up to 6 months. I’ve gotten keratin treatments in the past from other places, and none of them have even close to as good of results as Salon Zoey. I truly recommend getting keratin treatments here for any of my fellow frizzy/curly headed girls. Will continue to come back!“
