I just recently moved to Chicago and found Kara from a Facebook page I’m in. And she was nothing short of amazing, she is so personable and makes sure to do exactly what you are asking for! I will definitely keep going to her!!

Going to Vandross to get my hair done is something I look forward to days before my appointment. I pick out an outfit to wear and get excited to see the owner Susan and of course my stylist, Mikayla.Mikayla has been doing my hair for almost seven years and not only is she a talented colorist and style visionary, but she's warm, funny, honest and one of the best listeners I've ever met. She was born for this line of work. Not to mention, she did an excellent job at correcting my color after years of having to use box dye.I can't recommend this salon and Mikayla enough.

I found Kara when I first moved to Chicago almost 2 years ago and every time I see her I love my hair even more than before! The salon is beautiful and always clean, and everyone working has always been super friendly. I literally recommend this place to everyone!
