“Called because my air wasn't cooling good he was honest and told me to wash the coil on my outside unit I looked and it was covered with cotton from trees so I cleaned it and it was back working great. Thanks for being honest and not trying to just charge me a couple hundred for something you knew I was fully capable of fixing myself. The world needs more honest service companies like you. You may have not made money on me today but you will be my guy if anything is needed in the future.“

“Our a/c went out at 2am on July 4th. Our usual place no longer does 24/7 service. We called around. Waited for call backs. One place wouldn't come out until Saturday. I remembered the J&A jingle from WJOL and we gave them a call. The guy called back within 5 minutes and they were out at 11am and took care of the problem. Very happy with the service.

“Furnace went out last week and was told I needed to replace it ASAP due to a bad heat exchanger by another company. My friend recommended this company. Turns out my furnace just needed a new control board. The heat exchanger was fine. I believe they were trying to scare me with a natural gas leak. Very honest tech and he wasn't even suggesting I needed a new furnace. Tech said it could last for years. Glad I made a call to Southwest Mechanical after my furnace went out again. “Comfort First was fabulous; easy to make appointments online after hours (Saturday evening. We didn’t need emergency visit), they called back next day (Sunday morning) to discuss exactly what services I needed and confirmed my appointment (for Monday morning). They txt me name and a photo of my technician so I knew who to expect. My technician, Cory, called the morning of appointment to tell me when to expect him and he was on time. Very friendly, and professional. He explained everything, including pricing (reasonable) so no surprises. He took pictures of what he worked on and showed me. “My furnace was leaking water when the air conditioning ran. The unit is 20 years old and some of my neighbors had to replace their original Builder unit of which I have the same. Was worried about the cost of a new unit. PWA came recommended from a neighbor and over the phone, Bob basically diagnosed the problem enough for me to fix myself. I followed what he told me and he was right. Still had the service call to make sure, but by being honest and not trying to sell me a new unit spoke volumes and I will use them as my go to HVAC contractor.“
