He’s definitely not the easiest dog to handle and is not a fan of vet visits, yet Dr. Andy and his remarkable team always treat him with so much care, gentleness, and respect. They consistently go above and beyond to make Osito feel safe and comfortable.

Dr. Andy doesn’t just treat pets—he truly cares for them. The way he takes his time, listens, and genuinely looks out for Osito’s well-being means everything to me as a pet parent. “This is an extremely difficult review to write.

My fur baby (17, beagle) HATES going to the vet. He’s always hesitant to be touched and normally screams while there. Since he’s a senior and then some dog, most vets get impatient due to how anxious/stressed and painful he can be. This was not the case at Warrenville Grove Animal Hospital.

The service from the front desk staff, vet techs, Tracy, and vets was 5 stars (from my husband, myself, and our fur baby). We were treated with empathy, patience, and the highest level of care. Henry (fur baby) was as comfortable as he could be throughout and he did not scream once. Kim (vet tech) and Dr. Sarah Morlock were thorough, patient, and kind. They answered any and all questions and provided estimates $$ throughout the process.

Unfortunately my baby did not improve and that is not for lack of compassion or care from the staff. My sweetheart went to rest here and we were shown empathy and care. We were able to make Henry feel as comfortable as possible - we brought his bed, blanket, and listened to music the entire time. We were given some of his fur and a paw print as a keepsake. I decided to have Hengers cremated and received him within a week.

I truly am grateful for the entire staff at Warrenville Grove. I HATE the previous vet (VCA Schaumburg) my baby went to and am extremely grateful Warrenville Grove Animal hospital made my entire family feel loved and cared for, especially my Henry.

“I had a great experience at this place Bella my Chihuahua went in for a spay yesterday and she's peacefully resting at home I rescued Bella not too long ago from someone that wasn't taking care of her they called me and let me know she was doing fine after surgery and let me know she had a skin infection and that they were gonna give her a shot of antibiotics I will bring her back here in 10 days I can't thank everybody enough for taking good care of Bella plus the price here was unbeatable and worth the one in a half hour drive :)“

“Dr. Mary Ubatuba is great. The new vet Dr. Brian Johnston is great. The techs and receptionists are kind and efficient and knowledgeable.

I have been here with 2 cats, my sister/brother in law’s very old and very sick cat who they treated extremely well. I saw this first hand when I was cat sitting and he needed to take the cat in. They helped him (and his “brother”) live a long comfortable life even after they got ill - and my SIL said they were gentle and wonderful when it was time to put them down.

When I moved to the Downers Grove area I switched my vet care for my cat to Abbeywood. My cat has some serious chronic conditions and developed a new one more recently. Both Drs. Ubatuba and Johnston were fine with my not wanting to spend a lot of time and money to intensively treat the intestinal cancer we suspected. Instead, he gets care to prevent bladder stones, medicine for his thyroid, and added a steroid for his suspected intestinal cancer - reduced the inflammation, increased his comfort and has given him another happy year so far (they did not force me into expensive tests, surgery or chemo since he’s an old cat). They would have done the tests if I had wanted to know definitively what was causing my cat’s misery - and treated if we wanted to do that.

Abbeywood’s team is really attuned to what you need and as far as I can tell, technically great (getting blood and urine samples from my cat has never been easy).

“I have been taking my sweet boy to this office since I first moved here in 2018, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. This review is LONG overdue but Dr. Bishop and Dr. Lopiccolo really go out of their way and take their time to make sure your animals are well taken care of! Both of my pups hate having their nails trimmed (and they are definitely not easy to deal with), but the doctors and staff have never made me feel like they were a headache to deal with (even though I definitely know they are lol).

Absolutely love how dedicated they are to making sure you and your babies feel comfortable and at ease. Earlier today my pup ripped his nail off and I was so worried ( not knowing how serious it was or wasn’t) and Dr. Bishop found time to fit me in first thing in the morning so I could still make it to work and also make sure my baby was ok. He got my pup all wrapped up and even found time to complete all his shots that he was due for so I didn’t need to bring him back next week. Not only that, but he will always go out of his way to offer any assistance you might need to make the appointments run smoother.

HUGE shout out to the doctors and staff for always handling my dogs’ nail trims, they say thank you and so do I ?“

They treated an abscess and took the time to show me exactly how to give his antibiotic injections at home, which made me feel confident and supported instead of overwhelmed. Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. They explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed.

On top of the excellent care, the pricing was very affordable, which I truly appreciated. It is rare to find a clinic that combines this level of expertise with compassion and transparency.
