I was referred by a friend to this practice and I’m so impressed with the care and service we received. We drive out of our way from a distance and it is absolutely worth it. It is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the veterinarian (we see Dr. Tawnia Zollinger) provides excellent care to our older dog and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments. They follow up with a phone call the day after. It’s a calm environment and have never dealt with a waiting room full of other animals. Small details make a big difference- calming pheromone bandanas, classical music playing in the examinations rooms. All positive things about Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton!
I brought my senior 15 yr old cat Crosby in for a tooth extraction. He was in quite a bit of pain over the last month and when I brought him in they scheduled him for surgery within a few days. All the people there are super friendly and thorough and willing to take time to answer questions. Dr Groch was wonderful and Crosby ended up having 4 teeth removed. He came home and in just one day he is happier than ever!!! He is finally eating again and has a pep in his step! I would highly recommend this hospital. They even called me today, Sunday, to check and make sure Crosby was recovering well. I am very pleased with our experience there!
My wife and I recently adopted an 8-week old puppy on 8/2/26. We did not have any other pets and weren’t familiar with the different vet offices in the area. I was referred to Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton by an individual I hold in very high trust, and am grateful to them for the recommendation.
We have since visited AMC Wheaton twice with our young puppy. Once for a new patient wellness exam, and then recently for some vaccine boosters.
