Gavin and team added two new additions to our home and corrected some existing issues along the way. Can see by the numerous other reviews the great work they do on decks and such but the attention to detail can be seen in the two additions completed for us as well. They cleaned a small office for me. The carpet is 6-7 years old and wasnt very good quality to begin with. When they were finished the carpet look 100% improved. they moved out rolling file cabinets from the desks and made sure they cleaned as much as possible.

He came in on budget and ahead of schedule by a week (which was great because we had our baby a week and a half early- three days after we moved back in). His attention to detail and high expectations create such a fantastic final product. We call Troy for all our plumbing and remodeling needs.

Been several years since I've had an eye exam and gotten new glasses. Process was smooth after finally getting into our exams 15 minutes late because the paperwork took so long - I told them I knew they didn't take a certain kind of payment, I had already done my research. They insisted on scouring over the computer to check anyway. We were on a tight schedule so that was a bit irritating. But the doctor that did my exam was really sweet and they have an adequate amount of frames to pick from. They came in faster than we expected, and I ordered a second pair already! Would recommend, just allow extra time for the prolonged time for checking in

Went in with a fun design idea and wanted gel on my regular nails. Was told that my nails were too short so we did acrylics. They were so nice and efficient. They tried their best on the design and although it wasn’t exactly as in the picture I love them!!! Will definitely go back :) affordable too

I love candy nails! I've gone to them for almost a year and I've never been disappointed. I get dip with extensions and they last me easily a month, if not longer. One time I broke a nail the day after I got them done, and they happily redid it with no extra charge. Also the service is amazing! All the stylists remember me every time I come in, even if its been a few months. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating with requests for color, length, shape, etc. Also location is super convenient as a college student with no car. I will continue to come here for the rest of my time in Iowa City!
I arrived a little before opening hours but the woman at the desk insisted it wasn't a problem and got me in early! I had gel polish removed and new manicure with gel polish. They were quick, professional, and the salon was clean. Prices were reasonable as well -- I paid $35 for removal of gel and new gel manicure. I definitely recommend!

I always get compliments on how natural my hair color looks and how my gray hair just looks like highlights. He gives a great haircut and I always walk out of the salon feeling great!

I see Kelli for haircuts, and she is excellent and thorough. Her prices are reasonable compared to many places in Iowa City, and she has excellent customer service. Haircuts can take a while but the quality is well worth it. The salon itself is no-frills but always clean and maintained well.
Have gone there for years. I have wavy hair and, though I wear it in a standard man (older) style, was never happy with results from regular "barbers."
I had an amazing experience at Velvet lotus with Mandy! I felt extremely comfortable and supported as well. I had only one other tattoo that I had an extremely painful experience with and with Mandy it was night and day. I can't imagine getting another tattoo with anyone else!

Super friendly artist, clean and maintained tattoo station. This was my first piece done and the artist took me step by step and was very patient and kind with all my questions. Afterwards I was given easy instructions on how to care for my new piece. Overall a wonderful experience, I will be back! :)

We scheduled a cable technician to come out and problem-solve our antenna TV cables because they suddenly stopped working and Grandma could no longer watch MacGyver at 4 pm each day. The cable tech discovered immediately that we just needed to push the button to reset the outlet and it would work. Oh, were we embarrassed about our oversight but the technician was very kind and careful to protect our ego. :) His visit was so short (less than 5 minutes) that he didn't charge us. Something was different in the living room, the coffee table was off-center. When I moved the table I saw why: someone had tried to conceal a horrible spill. A foot-long murky brown stain had been left to molder on the light Berber. Ugh. I thought I would need new carpeting. But then Cory from Randy's Carpet Cleaning showed up. He is a genius! My carpeting was restored to the point it looks brand new. Spills from years of guests vanished. Thank you, experts of carpet cleaning. I am one happy customer!

SLS helped me with hardscaping in a problematic area in my yard. A gate was constantly muddy because of how water flowed through there during rains, and we needed a way to control all of the mud. SLS came up with a great idea and executed on it beautifully. There was one thing that I was especially impressed with. When I first walked the guys into my backyard to show them where they'd be working, I had to unclip the carabiner I keep on my gate latch (this prevents a particularly crafty beagle from opening the gate with his nose). The guys did a great job of keeping the gate closed so the dogs couldn't get out, but even better, when they were done for the day and left, they put the carabiner BACK ON. I mean, who notices little details like that?! I was very pleased with the work and the small, conscientious touches. :)

Great experience! I was very skeptical of chiros and still am. But, I was experiencing chronic neck pain for several months. I had seen my general practitioner who is an internist, a physical therapist (4 visits), tried deep tissue massage with very little effect from any of these. I visited Dr. DeGrazie three times, that's all. He did minor adjustments each time, but also gave me simple and fast exercises. While it did not happen instantly, I am now pain-free and have been for several weeks. Again, all it took was three visits and following the simple and quick exercise advice. I didn't spent a ton and I'm not going back every few days to get additional treatment/adjustments. Again, great value, great experience, and great people. Highly recommend!

I cannot express how much I appreciate the care and attention of all of the staff at Animal Clinic as our sick kitten had to have emergency surgery and then ended up having to be put to sleep. The kindness, compassion, and attention they showed our kitten and our family was unmatched. We came here for the first time as our regular vet was closed for the week but we are forever clients now. I can't imagine a better team to take care of our furbabies. We received them as a recommendation and will forever recommend them to others.

I took my chihuahua here and was very happy with the care. The staff took time to explain medication regimens and best practices to keep my dog in a healthy weight, good health, and good oral care. They were transparent and helped us improve our home routine in order to avoid unnecessary teeth cleanings by keeping his teeth tartar free on our own. I love going here and it reminded me of my favorite vet clinic from my home town. I would definitely recommend it to others. Cost is very reasonable and they are forward any additional costs before doing testing.
We love taking Rosie Girl to Best Friends Veterinary Care Dr Kim Vercunde & Staff are all kind and caring, we adopted Rosie about 1 year ago from Iowa City Animal Shelter she is a 2 year old Blue Heeler and can be reactive to other dogs she receives excellent loving care from them 100% all the time thanks to a wonderful team

Dr. Sullivan is very thorough and kind. She takes extra time to ensure all your pets needs are met. She explains things well and in a manner that makes sense. She stayed very late finishing an eye drop for my dog and even offered to drop it at my house. The Vet assistants were also all very helpful and thorough.
Such an amazing studio. I’ve been going here for about a year and have absolutely loved it. They have a great variety of classes - I started doing hot yoga for the first time here and found a lot of options for more beginner options. Classes can get a little full sometimes, but never to the point that I feel cramped or like I can’t do the poses. Would highly recommend.
I have been taking Aerial Yoga at Serenity for a little over two years now, and I cannot say enough good things about Marcie and the space she has created. Marcie meets her students at the level that we're at and challenges us and encourages us to go further and get stronger. Her expertise and positive energy make for a wonderful experience. Serenity Studio is a relaxing and welcoming environment. I always leave class with a smile on my face. Recently, I went grocery shopping after class and was told by a stranger that I was glowing, and I let them know it was the afterglow of a great yoga class.
Nancy is an excellent teacher. I love her level of care for the students and her precise instructions. She knows how to adapt poses if you can't quite get there yet.
This is where I first practiced yoga. I was given such an incredibly holistic introduction to yoga, it's philosophy and practice. I learned about myself, and experienced great times of emotional release. Betsy and all of the teachers in this studio clearly care about every person that walks through the door. I have visited dozens of studios since, and I cannot recommend this place enough! If you can't attend in person, check out the online zoom option... Set aside a space in your home, and enjoy the love that is shared in every practice!

I have been going to Nic for the past 9 years for massage therapy. I've had other massages at spas or on vacations and NO ONE compares to him. I came in the first day they opened, about 8 years ago! The prices were affordable and the couple who owns it made it a very comfortable experience. They are both very good-- I'd tried a few other massage therapists prior, but they were the only ones I ever went back to. My back felt totally different after a visit! I was so sad to move away 6 years ago. I can't wait to come back now that we've returned to the area!

I saw Von Glazer, DPT, who listened, asked pertinent questions, worked with me to develop a routine that would assist me with getting my strength and ROM back. After my recent surgery, the exercises suggested were not not increasing my range of motion as much as wanted. Kayla 's treatment had worked well on previous issues so I was eager to come back. We have made great progress on better range of motion, less pain with movement, and also increasing strength in my right arm. She also provided support and encouragement in other areas of movement to talk to my neurologist about. This has led to better treatment options in the near future. I appreciate her professional skills and her empathy.

My guy Rob is a guru or something along those lines, he just noticed my voice was off one day when I was working and just got me a huge bottle of some Chinese herb capsules and they worked like a charm! Never had an actual doctor fix me that fast but Mr Rob did.
Always feel much better after appt - I go for neck, shoulders, hips, and tendinitis in hand. I have even gone for a sprained ankle!
