My boyfriend & I have both been seeing Thomas at Buzz since we moved to IC about 3 years ago. He has so much knowledge and experience, very willing to teach and guide us on our hair journey over the years! We cannot recommend him highly enough, and our hair has never looked better. We were sad to hear that Buzz closed & Thomas is no longer there, but thankfully we were able to find him at Haba Salon in Iowa City! He’s reachable there if you’re looking for an incredible stylist and great salon experience.

I have been going to Buzz for several years now and it never fails to WOW. Thomas has been cutting snd styling my hair. He has incredible experience and expertise from working with internationally reknown hair stylists across the globe. That experience has made him able to create magic. He always checks in to listen and hear what i want and then implements it. I trust his vision and skill to make it happen. I always feel amazing when he's done with the cut and style. I've had different hair cuts/style-shorter, longer and I've loved every one.

Buzz Salon is truly a hidden gem in Iowa. The staff here have helped me so much over the years, from fixing bad haircuts to helping me grow my hair out as a man so I could eventually donate it. They’ve taught me a lot, listened to me through different seasons of life, and always made me feel comfortable and understood.

This isn’t the kind of place where you just get a haircut and leave it’s a full experience in itself. There’s real care, professionalism, and connection here.
