“Like O'hana. Michael, from initial phone call to project finish was like working with O'hana.Received quotes from four paint contractors and his prices were the most competitive. Commissioned him to paint the exterior wood of our house and car port. Ran into issues with rotting fence posts which he was able to replace and apply caulking and brackets at the base to prevent from occurring in the future. Upon job completion, wife was not happy with finish in one of our lanais and asked to repaint it. He was courteous and gracious about this request even though we had agreed in advance on the paint color. He had to return and work an extra day to remove, sand and repaint, and did so without complaint and at no extra cost because he wanted us to be happy with the work. Michael is a true professional. His crew worked diligently with a positive attitude, and left the premises clean. My neighbor was impressed with the quality of the fence repair and painting between our homes that she hired him to paint her house as well. She is an older lady and feels safe with his crew who have been nothing but pleasant and professional. Bonus: Michael has extensive experience building homes and has given great advice for other handy man work needed in our home.Michael is a model for how all contractors shouldwork!“
“Jon and his crew put a new wood shake roof on our house in East Honolulu in the early 1980's, they have been coming out doing maintenance work and applying an oil preservative treatment every four years, as well as taking care of the flat roofs. The roof is still going strong after all those years! They are very professional and knowledgeable about roofing, I would highly recommend them.“

“Review is for initial consult as I didn't need re-roofing after all. Mark spent a lot of time explaining how our insurance "estimator" said: "roofing shingles have major granular loss". Because of that we couldn't get our homeowner's policy renewed. It literally was just the edges of a few Presidential Architect 80 shingles where the water runs into the gutter and was no where near major. Marc lost a job from us by telling us the truth that our roof should last another 10-15 years. He even went further to climb on top of the roof and snapped a photo of the back side of our roof which was in excellent condition. Insurance co. would still not insure us; however, agent has another company lined up for us. We will be sure to call Mark when we do need to replace the roof or if our solar goes bad. (Yes, he can do it all from solar to roofing!)“

“Had a small leak from a solar installation done wrong. Called Kimoto Roofing and Skyta Roofing and neither one of them even called me back. RC roofing came out and correctly took the time to remove flashing and found the problem. I would highly recommend RC roofing. Randy is fair in pricing and did excellent work.“

They have gotten great reviews here on Yelp and why I considered them. Unfortunately, I elected after further analysis for my particular situation, not to go with their services but I was still impressed with the professionalism, their achievements and recommend considering them.“

“Murakami Roofing did my parent's roof a few years earlier, and close to the end of the warranty, Mom noticed some odd water drops on the dining roof table after a heavy rain. So many days later, she noticed it again and upon Dad's inspection, figured out the roof had a leak. I called Murakami Roofing, and as soon as the rains let up, they scheduled a crew to fix the leak. Wonderful, responsive and stood behind their warranty! Bravo!“

“I recently had Protech Roofing blow insulation into my attic. They spent about 3 hours and left without a trace. No mess. I can also say that anyone who has an attic should get insulation as it makes a noticeable difference. I will use AC less often now and when I do, it wont use as much energy. My ceiling was hot during the day before and now it feels very cool. Full disclosure, I worked with Protech on a large commercial project for my day job and they also were very efficient and communicated well which is why I trusted them to help with my personal home.“

“I had my windows installed about 1 /12 years ago with Tropical Wholesale. I still love them and find that the customer service is excellent with them. One of my screens clips snapped when I was washing the windows just recently and I didn't know how to fix it. Matt, himself came to my house and replace two clips and put the window screens back on my window. He was very courteous and professional. I see negative reviews about Tropical Wholesale but I believe it is just the competitors sending those reviews out. They get 5 stars from me.Debbie K“
