“After using two trainers before finding deanna, I am eternally grateful for Hawai’i Dog training services. Deanna shifted the entire dynamic of my house. I’m someone who was willing to rescue and rehabilitate dogs at whatever cost, and Deanna saw and admired that in me, even if I am a “glutton for punishment” lol. She taught not only my three dogs, but me so much and offered more than I could’ve ever paid her for! I had a trainer tell me my dogs genetics were going to “haunt me for the rest of my life” and Deanna (who also has mutts) didn’t care about the shape, size, or behavior. She took them for who they were and made them the best that they could be (which they’re pretty dang awesome if you ask me). We owe deanna our entire life plus some. Nalo, Eva, and Remii gained an Auntie - and the Hensons gained a friend!“

“It is hard to put into words exactly how grateful we are for the progress our pup made with Maria and Island Dog Obedience. We did a two week board and train with our 11 month old Labrador puppy, Slater and I can say with confidence, it was worth every penny! Our boy came back to us with so many positive behaviors. He now walks beautifully in heel and off leash, responds to a slew of new commands, is able to “place” when we have guests over and has better recall than we ever expected!

A bonus for us was the daily photos and videos that Maria sent. It was such a treat to see his progress unfold… and receive proof that he was not only learning, but also happy and loved!

“I’ve been taking my 15 year old shih tzu here for over 5 years. This is the best place I’ve been in the area for grooming. They do a good job and I can tell my dog enjoys herself while she’s there. I’ve had experiences at other groomers in the area where my dog is very anxious when I pick her up…but never here. That’s how I know the groomer does a fantastic job with the dogs making them feel safe and loved while they’re there. You know the non-verbal communication you have with your dogs? Yeah, that’s how my dog told me she approves. She now wags her tail when I ask if she wants a haircut. ???“

“I have been a loyal customer of Dr. Kam for the pass 30 years. You won’t find a more compassionate, loving and friendly staff. I love the fact that Dr. Kam dies the basic exam, vaccination, etc. in front of you. I’ve moved farther away from Kalihi & have tried closer vets, but don’t like the fact that they take my fur babies to another room doing who knows what or nothing at all without solving any medical issues. And one of them even had me tranquilize my Pit Bull just because she was just overly excited and just wants to love people. No tranquilizer per Dr. Kam and she was able to manage my Pit Bull with no muzzle. Anyway me and my fur babies Love Dr. Kam and her staff and pray she maintains good health and never retires. Thank You all for your Humbleness and genuine Love for animals, to include staying true to your motto: Treating & Loving Pets as Family!

“Always a great experience when we come here. Staff are great and helpful. Definitely pet people. Dr Hsu is wonderful in his education and options. Reasonable but definitely knows what he is doing. Highly recommend. Good parking lot. Always quick in and out.“

“An amazing boarding resort for cats, very clean, safe secured, well maintained, nicely decorated, high tech with web cams, and friendly caring staff. Conveniently located in town near HHS. The owner founder Chris is a super nice guy too. Attended a cat-themed event there recently and totally loved it. Their rates are reasonable, I will be boarding my cats here when I travel next time or otherwise need to board overnight (house tenting). The best part is in their logo: 'Every stay save a stray '. Gotta love their mission that they save and adopt out rescued cats. Follow their FB or Insta pages, and visit their website, they also need volunteers and donations to support their rescue operations.“

“We love Alii Animal Unleashed and Alii Hospital and resort for Kekoa. We been with Alii since we received Kekoa almost 5 years ago. Dr Cooke and her team of veterinarians are amazing. In addition, we love their daycare and boarding. While on vacation, Kekoa always stays at Unleashed. Their staff is amazing and always takes good care of our fur baby. They have cameras in the play room and his suite. They keep us well informed of Kekoa while we are on vacation. We know that our fur baby is in good hands.“

“Dr Scott and his team have been taking care of my 15+ year old Shih Tzu since he was a baby. He saved him through many challenges and keeps him very healthy on the daily. He, Christina and all of his staff are always very kind and caring. Jeffrey loves Dr. Scott and we appreciate everything that they do!!
