We’ve taken our dog Dexter to Dr. Cunningham for years and she is the best. She is knowledgeable and honest. She is thorough in her examinations and recommendations, outlining your options based on the diagnosis, cost of treatment, and likely outcomes. She never pressures or tries to “up-sell” you on unnecessary procedures.
Last year Dexter needed surgery requiring anesthesia. Dexter has a mild heart murmur so I was incredibly nervous. Dr. Cunningham talked us through everything and made sure Dexter was given the proper care and attention he needed. She called me right after he woke up from surgery to confirm that everything went well.
Can't recommend Dr. Thornburg enough! We brought our 9-year-old dog to see her for some complex medical issues, and from our very first visit, she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to thoroughly evaluate his condition, explain her recommendations, and develop a comprehensive treatment plan for his widespread skin issues. The results have been remarkable—we’ve seen such significant improvement that we no longer need to see a specialist. We feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Thornburg and highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.
