“The environment was good (The music may contain profanity which is expected because this is a men’s barber shop) my barber Timmy did an absolutely amazing job on my mid-taper textured fringe he even gave me advice on how to texture my hair, what to texture it with, and where to get it. He was also very gentle and went back 3 or more times to make sure every single strand of hair was perfect while texturing my hair carefully with each and every cut. It was very clean and welcoming. 10/10 recommended, would go again. Most likely the best barber shop on the island (I’m not sure where the person that rated this place 1 star was because not a single thing correlated to Eastside Barber Shop and they would never do a haircut as atrocious as that to anyone)“

“Hello all. I just want to describe how great my experience was at this fine establishment that is A1 Barber. they are NOT A STYLIST!!!!! my experience was truly incredible. Mr Quangs delicate strokes when giving me my haircut along with cutting my hair with the other hand made the experience much better. All the reviews that call Mr Quang racist are wrong. I walked in with my black friend and they still cut my hair. They said his was too hard to cut but that doesn’t matter. I also liked how Mr Quang would take matters into his own hands during my cut and inflicted consequences onto those parking in his spot. The only thing I can say about this place is that Mr Quangs “phone” in his pocket was touching me during the cut but I feel like that might not have been a bad phone. 10/10 will come again.“
