G Barber Shop

I appreciate a barber shop that allows walk-ins. It allows for a convenient, impromptu cut. G Barber Shop is nestled on the interior of a small business plaza on Oneawa Street in Kailua. Next door is a nail salon. They have parking stalls but I was in a metered space a block away. A regular - no frills - haircut is $20.00...that can't be beat on Oahu. They offer a military discount. I didn't wait long for a walk-in and the lady that cut my hair was quick and experienced. I briefly explained what I wanted and she gave me the cut I requested.

Had 2/3 good cuts. The one that wasn't great was because the person didn't do what I asked and told me basically I shouldn't do it that way... I've been in MIL for over 10 years, I know how high I like my fades (and what my wife likes to see). Other 2 listened and did a great job. Have never had to wait long, with or without a reservation. Easy to get to, parking pretty good, and can grab some froyo nearby if you're in the mood.

Great service. Skilled barber. Nice tape, faux mohawk. Excellent work. We were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Got there at opening and were first in chair. Lots of chairs available. Clean too.
