“Today I took my two boys for their very first barber cuts—on a Sunday, without an appointment ?.
Our barber still welcomed us in and managed to squeeze us into his busy schedule, even with other clients booked. He was incredibly patient as my boys wiggled, giggled, and did everything but sit still. Lesson learned: next time, I’ll book them on different days to spare our barber the extra cardio.“

“Really great experience. They ask an lot of questions about what you're looking for and your hair history to make sure they are getting it right. They spend a good amount of time making sure the cut and color are great, and it's a very relaxing, chill atmosphere. I have been trying to find my new go-to spot for a few years now and I think this is it! I had Kalia and she really did a great job! I have long (thin) hair and did highlights and cut and with tip it was about $400 which is incredibly reasonable.“

“After being served a kanak attack from Button Up Cafe, I came waddling in to see my favorite hairstylist, Carina. I moved to the mainland a few years ago but always wait to cut my hair whenever visiting Oahu.
Carina first won my trust and repeat patronage in 2010, when she lopped my mid-back length hair to a beautiful, meticulously, trimmed medium fade combover. Most barber shops don’t use straight razors to get deep into a fade or line up, but Carina is Jedi master with it and makes shaves baby butt smooth.
A few things to note: she’s cash only with Men’s cuts currently at $28 and women’s $30. It’s only street parking so it may take a couple drive-bys to snag a parking. And lastly, please be patient, she’s very soft spoken and has a thick Chinese accent.
All in all, I’ve been selfish about posting this review in hopes that there’s no lines when I see her. But since I want here to prosper in cost of living prices in Hawaii, gotta give her a loud shout out so that I can keep getting the best haircuts.“

“I think I found my new shop. After being gone for almost a decade coming back to a nice local shop was such a a nice respite from it all. I couldn't find a website appointment system or social media so I just went in crossing my fingers it wasn't that busy and luckily it wasn't at all and I was easily helped. My barber Taz was super friendly and turns out we had mutual friends so it was a nice throwback to baby days at school. I'd easily say he was the best fade I got since I got into cleaning my mop in high school. Shit looks immaculate and he took his time after fine tuning it for my and my chia pet hair. Safe to say I was not disappointed. My barber was very cool very respectful and the service was second to none not to mention I left looking superb.
