“I’ve been coming here for 3 years now, and they’ve never disappointed! All the barbers are great, and you really can’t go wrong with anyone here. I’ve got curly-ish hair, so finding someone who knows how to work with it isn’t always easy, but they always get it right. This mid skin drop fade came out super clean, sharp, and blended perfectly while keeping the curls looking natural on top. The attention to detail is always on point. 3 years of consistently great cuts — definitely recommend this place! 💯”

“I called Thursday morning to see if they had any openings. They said possibly about 11a and they would call me as it gets closer. They called about 1030a to confirm and that i could come in... very accommodating. They're located at the intersection of 7/11 and shares parking... there is free parking there and other free parking in the near vicinity. Very convenient. The shop is typical asian and clean. Very friendly owners and staff... reception, male barber and main barber/stylist. The cut took about an hour. I had little shortee than mid-back length hair. I gave a reference pick... turned out ok, but was given a little shorter cut. I think it will grow out ok. As for pricing... very reasonable. I might come here again.”

After calling several barbers looking for someone experienced with children who have sensory disabilities, this was the first place willing to help.<br><br>The barber (I’m terrible with names, but you’re the one who retired from the Air Force!) was incredibly patient, kind, and gentle. He talked my kids through every step, gave them breaks when needed, and kept loose hair on them to a minimum, which made a huge difference.<br><br>Seeing my nonverbal kids smile at themselves in the mirror said everything about their experience. Overall fantastic experience! Highly recommend and giving 5 stars! We will definitely be back.”

I never really found one that kept me coming back.<br><br>This morning I walked into The Parlor at opening and ended up in Jordan's chair. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.<br><br>He listened, paid attention to the details, and gave me exactly the cut I was looking for. “After being served a kanak attack from Button Up Cafe, I came waddling in to see my favorite hairstylist, Carina. I moved to the mainland a few years ago but always wait to cut my hair whenever visiting Oahu.<br>Carina first won my trust and repeat patronage in 2010, when she lopped my mid-back length hair to a beautiful, meticulously, trimmed medium fade combover. Most barber shops don’t use straight razors to get deep into a fade or line up, but Carina is Jedi master with it and makes shaves baby butt smooth.<br>A few things to note: she’s cash only with Men’s cuts currently at $28 and women’s $30. It’s only street parking so it may take a couple drive-bys to snag a parking. And lastly, please be patient, she’s very soft spoken and has a thick Chinese accent.<br>All in all, I’ve been selfish about posting this review in hopes that there’s no lines when I see her. But since I want here to prosper in cost of living prices in Hawaii, gotta give her a loud shout out so that I can keep getting the best haircuts.”
