I tried all my usual things and he would not eat-he even refused all his favorites and could not get comfortable-Luke and I were up most of the night and Saturday morning I showed up at Good Dog in Smyrna before 8 AM without an appointment based on a referral from my neighbor Lane Womack.q and I had Even though they were booked Dr. Thane Boyce saw Luke, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis-fortunately the meds worked and he is feeling better and did not require surgery. Dr. Boyce, Vet Tech Alaska, front desk lady who helped me in the clinic and cashier Brittany M were all exceptionally nice. Everyone took the time to provide detailed explanations, answer questions. “Wonderful bedside manner. Dr.West treats our babies as if they are part of his family. He takes time to discuss any health issue and answer any questions. We do not feel rushed. And our babies ? the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting the best for their fur babies.“

“I have very bad knees and have trouble walking. I have a very strong, and very excitable Golden Retriever that needed his rabies shot. I stayed in the car with him and a young man came out to take him into the vet for me. He got his shot and then the young man also took him back out to the car for me. I've been going to East Paulding for many years and you don't know how much I appreciate that. Everyone in the office including, the veterarians, have been very friendly and helpful.“

“I feel like the staff and doctors really care about my dog. Not sure how they compare price wise with other vets but they give estimates beforehand and give alternate options to help. My dog needs an ultrasound which is pricey and the doctor said there is no wrong or right decision if we didn't get it. So no judgements are passed on to us if we decide not to go that route.“

Dr. Milby and the entire staff are incredibly compassionate and caring. After each session, Brock Lee is noticeably more relaxed and playful. “We’ve had a great experience with Cat Care Hospital. Our first cat was declawed and neutered here over two years ago and is still perfectly healthy, which made us comfortable bringing our second cat. After a lot of failed attempts to train him not to claw in the house, we decided this was the best option since he’ll be an indoor cat. The process with them was so easy and they got him scheduled for surgery the next week which was much appreciated since he started to spray everywhere too. They kept me updated every day on how he was doing even over the holidays and were so nice the whole time.“

Dr Joyce and her staff are polite, efficient, and willing to answer or find the answers to my questions. I appreciate the ability to purchase meds(heart worm etc...) monthly or multiple months at the time to accommodate if needed. My puppy is a bit skiddish and somewhat shy. They have been gentle and patient with him and we have had a great experience!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. My dog Scooby is not an easy patient . He is very reactive - lunging, snarling, barking — the whole nine yards. It is not an easy situation for anyone involved.

Despite how difficult he was, the doctor and staff treated him with patience, calm professionalism, and dignity. There was no frustration, no judgment — just steady, confident care. They safely got him wrapped, treated his ear, and made sure he received the medication he needed without escalating the situation.

“Dr Sean Carder is the most caring human. I had an emergency with my dog and just showed up with no appointment. Dr Carder immediately came in to see our sick pup. He never once made us think he was being inconvenienced to switch gears, disrupt his schedule and cared for my boy. I was told that I would have had to physically mail in the Rx to Chewy in order to get it filled. Seemed like a lengthy process considering it's 2024 and technology has advanced. But i'd still go back to Ark anytime my dog has an issue.“
