Kay Animal Hospital is a great place to take beloved pets. They prioritize emergency appointments, even on short notice, and provide exceptional care. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, treating pets like their own and making customers feel like family. The hospital is known for its thorough diagnosis and treatment, as seen in the case of a dog with a mystery illness. The veterinarian takes time to listen and asks questions to ensure understanding. The medical team is attentive and does not rush interactions. The examine tables are designed with comfort in mind, featuring padding to help pets feel safe. Overall, Kay Animal Hospital is a caring and considerate choice for pet owners, offering explanations and choices regarding treatments.
Kay Animal Hospital is first rate from top to bottom - friendly, helpful staff, a very clean environment and prompt, quality medical service at an exceptional value. Too bad most people don't receive the quality of care, compassion and value that Kay Animal Hospital provides our pets.
Kay Animal Hospital deserves every bit of praise I can give. After months of taking my dog, Too Short, to Hiram Animal Hospital and spending hundreds of dollars on repeated medications with no real answers, I finally found a place that truly cares about pets and the people who love them.
From the moment I walked into Kay Animal Hospital, I felt the difference. Dr. Clay Leathers didn’t just prescribe another round of the same medication. He put my furbaby on a real regimen to figure out what was actually wrong. He took the time to listen, to examine, and to create a plan that made sense. For the first time in months, I felt hope instead of frustration.

Would give them 10 stars if it allowed. The front office team is incredible and Dr Leathers is kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. All of the vet techs we have had have been amazing. The facility is clean and appointments are readily available. Wish we had found this place sooner! Couldn't recommend more.
