“I had a great experience with Stellar Roofing and Solar. When I saw their ad on Facebook, I was so excited to see a black owned roofing company. I met with a representative Ted, and he was so easy to talk to. He explained the process and answered all of my questions. He was so nice, informative, and patient. It felt like he was a family friend afterwards. I had my roof replaced in August. I paid out of pocket for my roof since based on the age of the roof, the I would have gotten only about $1000 after the deductible. I wasn’t home when they came to install however, I reviewed my ring here and there. The group of guys worked so cohesively together and someone was there to manage the install. They cleaned everything and it seemed like everything from the beginning to the end was very coordinated and flawless. I noticed that the cornices on the front of my townhouse was not replaced and I spoke with Ted and he had guys out within a few days to complete it. I was and am pleased with the work would definitely recommend them. I am so proud to have been able to get my roof replaced by a black owned company. On another note: I feel disappointed right now because I see ads that Stellar has posted stating a roof replacement for $7995 on a 4500 sft home. I wonder why a roof on a 1646 sqft home was $6400. This doesn’t take away from my satisfaction with the work and the customer service. However, I don’t like feeling like I was overcharged based on the post that I have seen lately.“

“Our roof had an area with several issues last October and Luis came out and promptly diagnosed the issues. He was very professional and informative, explaining each area of concern and taking pictures along the way.When it came time for repairs, I thought Modern Roofing & Restoration's pricing was extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of work that was done.Recently, with the larger storms, we had a small leak pop back up. Luis came out immediately to see what was going on. He performed a water test, free of charge (since we already had work done near the area), to find the issue. We spent over an hour watering the area to the find the leak. Long story short, a few older shingles a couple feet from the roof valley needed some caulking! Luis only charged us for caulk repairs and I could not be more satisfied with his service. I honestly feel that most other places would have over-diagnosed the issue.This is great company with roofing professionals, fair pricing, & honest work!Service: Roof repair“
