“This cute little fast talking lady had me sold before I knew what was happening. I clicked on a button that insinuated I could get free windows, but was directed to Renewal by Andersen. Then came the phone call and the appointment schedule. These people move fast. Then Miss K arrives. Let me tell you. She is an excellent sales representative. She was not aggressive or “pushy” in any way. She made me believe I needed new windows, when I was only interested because I thought they were free. She accommodated my every concern. She really bragged about the excellent workmanship I would be getting. I shared with her that I have had many bad experiences in the past. The measurement process was very smooth. Thank you. I was skeptical about the blinds fitting in the space that the very thick windows would leave me. Another representative came to my house and physically showed me how they would fit and left no doubt. Then came the day. The technicians, there were 2 of them, one inside and the other outside. They worked non-stop, except for lunch, from 8:30am to almost 7:00pm, completing 10 windows. They cleaned up every piece of trash that was created, inside and out. The field manager checked in and was very polite and kind. He later came back to reinforce one of the blinds that was replaced. My house looks like a new house inside and out, just from new windows. Not only are they all professional people, but the work crew they enlisted was top notch. Can’t wait for my next project. Keep it going you guys. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience. In addition, they changed a door into a window and our main entry door from one door with side lights and a transom to two doors without side lights or transom. Everyone was so easy to work with. What I most appreciate, though, is that I lost my mom during the process. “The townhouse we bought several years ago already had imported exterior doors with multi-point locks. The locking mechanism on some of the doors became inoperable over time, and we recently had Tom Scardino come evaluate the issue. The company was easy to work with in setting up the appointment, and Tom was extremely nice and knowledgable when he was in our home examining the troublesome doors, pointing out to us why the locks were not engaging. He thought his repairman would have to remove the locking systems from the problem doors and perhaps use replacement parts, so the offer to do the repair work was therefore costly, but we accepted because we didn't know of another good option in our area. The repair work was promptly scheduled, and the repairman showed up on time and was extremely nice and competent. He was able to repair all the doors quickly and without removing the hardware or using any replacement parts. Because the repair took so little time and did not require any new hardware, Scardino Doors offered to return half of the deposit and not charge the remaining amount due. It was a very generous gesture and we appreciate their taking the initiative to charge an amount that was commensurate with the service provided. We recommend them highly.“
