“I live in Orlando, Fl and wanted to write a review about my experience with Schick Roofing. I rarely write reviews, but in this instance I feel compelled to. I thought I had a leak and was dreading to even get an inspection, much less pay for a new roof. Schick Roofing has done several roofs in the neighborhood and also did my Sister’s roof. And all have shared excellent feedback on Schick. Because I’m on my 3rd roof as we speak, I decided not to spend the time asking around for referrals or spend time trying to compare and contrast other Roofing Companies that I researched On-line. In fact Schick happened to be around the block last week, so I walked over to get a Business card from their representative - George Dubois. I called their office and scheduled an appointment for yesterday. To my great delight - I actually don’t have a leak and I don’t need a new Roof at this time. The reason I’m writing this review is because in this day and age of Storm Chasers/Roofers stopping by to give a “quick inspection” because they happen to be in the neighborhood…it would be easy to get sucked in and believe it to be true. In this instance, George did a thorough inspection of my roof, and put a moisture meter on the spot on my Porch ceiling that I was certain was a leak. It turned out to be an old spot from a previous one. While he was on the Roof he was showing me what they look for during an inspection and letting me know that my roof is still in good shape. Maybe in the next 3-5 years depending on weather (be it Sun or Hail Storms or whatever else may come), George said call us and we’ll be happy to come out and inspect again. He did not rush through the inspection and I gained some knowledge about Roofs and leaks, etc. Bottom line - when it’s time I will call them again. I won’t need to “shop around”. I truly appreciate the time that was spent inspecting and educating me, and more importantly the HONESTY. In this day and age, it’s such a relief to know that great Customer Service still exists especially for something that’s absolutely necessary and costs Thousands of dollars.”
