“Prior to starting at Nika the only thing I had ever accomplished when working at a gym was hurting myself. I was afraid to work out because of daily pain from long term back injuries. It seemed counterintuitive to me to work out, even though that's what I was told would work. I had personal training with Zach. He was very patient with me. I discovered very early that I had very little balance and really needed to start at the beginning. I spent 2 years in weekly training sessions. That was the most commitment I'd ever made to exercise. While training we would have conversations about my diet, my daily activities, what bothered my back, etc. My only goal when I started was to be able to hold my granddaughter without being in pain. What did I get? A new appreciation for my body and the wonderful machine that it is. I learned that core supports every part of your body and having a strong core is essential. I'm able to move better and have more stamina. When I read the FB post about Nika I was hesitant if they could really help me. Today, I would recommend them to anyone who really wants to have the right people looking after you and supporting you. I had to move so I'm no longer going to Nika. I'd love to find another gym that even comes close, but it's going to be hard!”
