The treatments targeted the areas that were most affected, and although the exercises were challenging at first, they proved to be very effective over time. I had neck, shoulder, and back pain from a car accident, which made it uncomfortable to drive or sit for long periods. Since I drive for work and spend long hours sitting, this was a big issue. Dr. Murphy really helped me with that. The massages after treatment were also very helpful in relaxing my muscles and relieving tension in my neck, shoulders, and back. I was impressed with how smoothly the scheduling process worked—I never had to wait more than five minutes to start treatment, and most times, it was immediate. The two receptionists were professional, polite, and resourceful. Even when I needed to adjust my appointments, they handled it with ease. “Dr. Buonanno was recommended to me by a close family friend. When I gave him a call, I described to him what the pain in my back was as best as I could. He gave an educated guess (which turned out to be correct) and told me to come and see him and he assured me that I would be fixed based on what I described. When I scheduled an appointment he walked me through the process of what was happening. He was teaching me what he was observing and describing what was happening to my body. As a college student athlete for rowing, I lifted excessive weight and tore the ligaments keeping my spine together. But as he taught me they heal on their own. When they did, one of the vertebrates in my lower back just above my tailbone was still not correctly put back into place after the ligaments healed causing the pain. So the muscles that keep my spine (which he taught me the muscles names as well) in place were compensating for the pain and misplacement of the vertebrate from the previous accident. Once he saw me in person he said this is an easy fix, and helped me feel relaxed, assured, and informed on what was happening. I only had 3 appointments with him and my vertebrate was put pack into place and now I no longer have pain in my back. This goes without saying I highly recommend Dr. Buonanno and his staff. Thank you for fixing my back and teaching me at the same time!!“
