Grota Solna Salt Cave, in Niantic did not disappoint. Their staff was warm and friendly and greeted me with different varieties of infused waters, and a complimentary guava kombucha from East Coast Kombucha Co. I'm not usually a fan of kombucha, but it was really good! They have a beautiful gift shop with handmade soaps, lotions, jewelry, and of course, a large selection of beautiful salt lamps. After your massage session, you're escorted to a comfy chair where you can put your feet up on a heated salt lamp, so you can chill for a bit before getting dressed. There are also heated Himalayan balls to massage your neck area. This experience was much needed and I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed. ?❤
I’ve been going to Maggie at Niantic Acupuncture for trigger thumb. I had visited a hand doctor and they suggested surgery. I visited Maggie to see if she could help. Maggie showed me how to use GuaSha, massage and soaking along with acupuncture treatments. I have almost completely healed and avoided surgery. I would recommend Niantic Acupuncture for acupuncture as well as holistic medicine.
I cannot say enough great things about this detailing company. The owner came to clean my car after my son got carsick, and he was an absolute lifesaver. He was incredibly kind, professional, and so understanding about the situation. He took his time, was as thorough as humanly possible, and made sure every trace of the mess — and the smell — was completely gone.

This salon is a hidden gem. I’ve never experienced anything like it before! You aren’t forced into small talk while getting your hair done, you can simply relax or talk, it’s literally up to you without feeling weird. Also, the atmosphere is incredible, with regulars chatting it up with other regulars. It feels like being part of a family, everyone is so nice. On top of that, Brooke is excellent, she just knows what to do with your hair even when you aren’t confident yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back and actually can’t wait for my next appointment!

John has been great right from the start. He was able to work with us in many ways. First was all the great ideas and his experience was so useful. My Wife and I have no clue about this stuff. We thought, how much and how hard can it be to gut, demo half the house, and build an addition. John has just been so great. We made mistakes and he came up with amazing solutions to over come the silly mistake we made. Right now we are about half way there and once it is completed, I will post some photos when my wife leaves her review. Jessica did both my son's newborn shoots, my first in 2023 and this year in 2024. she was wonderful with them both, didn't rush the process, let me nurse them if needed between shots. her studio was clean, warm, and even had a changing table. the photos came out beautiful as well. definitely going to book her for future development stages as well!!
Great haircuts. Quick and great pricing. Very nice guy, too. Mentioned during my last visit that we're moving my mom to long-term memory care, and he stopped cutting and had a serious conversation with me about the situation. We had our wedding on September 28th, 2024! We inquired to two other florists, but ultimately decided to go with Karen Tierney Floral Designs. She was very responsive, affordable, and knew how to make my vision come to life! I sent inspiration pictures and we had a meeting over the phone. I even gave her a piece of my Mom’s wedding dress fabric so she could wrap it around my bouquet, making it extra special for me. We ordered 4 bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 10 centerpieces, and 2 corsages for the mothers. Karen was very sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. I am so happy and grateful we went with her! Highly recommend!

She offered her expertise and we talked extensively about my future hair goals (going from blonde to greyeige). We got on with my root color, highs and low lights, cut and style. I walked out feeling hair rejuvenated! My hair is full of life and it looks spectacular. It's just what I wanted/needed. A day later and it's still down -- not up or in a ponytail! LOVE LOVEEEE this place I refuse to go anywhere else. The prices are amazing and so is the quality of the nails!! They last about a month before my own real nail grows out and I need a fill. All of these pictures are over the course of a year or two from getting them done here and all different colors and things me and my little one got done ??
I needed a part for a high-end outdoor shower. When I brought the part into the store, Rob diagnosed what was not working. He and other staff spent considerable time looking for a nut that would have solved the problem. When it was clear that they didn't have one, they spent even more time trying to figure out how to order just a small part of the shower system. They even brought it in overnight so that I could get the shower up and running. When I couldn't disconnect the nut on the new part from the unit, I took it back. Three men worked together to unscrew the over-torqued nuts on either side. This is the difference between going to a local, knowledgeable store vs a big box store or Amazon. I could not recommend them more highly.

Since in my case that's likely barely north of triple digits, I'm guessing that Lily, with her gentle and precise work, has counted them more than once. Love Lani Nail, my only go to for the last couple years. Staff always courteous and professional. JoJo takes care of me and has gone above and beyond a few times now when I had emergencies of my own making to get me in quickly. Elaine is my hands down favorite for powder, she does a great job and I always leave with a beautiful set of nails. So appreciate these ladies.
Super cute salon. Had an appt with Haley Bedard to do hybrid lash extensions. I was very comfortable and fell asleep while she did my first eye. Got them done pretty quick, about 1Hr 20mins? She ate, took a second for me to get used to seeing myself with lashes, but very cutie! I very much recommend her ◡̈ <3

brought my girl here and the staff working with the dogs are ALL amazing. they truly care and take time to give you updates on what your pup did for the day. unfortunately after 6 months you dog needs to be deserted to attend daycare which i totally understand. took my girl to another place in Groton and OMG the worst experience ever! rude people, no indoor play space, they crate dogs all day and no one has a clue how the dog did! do yourself a favor and just go to My Dogs Place, nothing else compares!!
Dr Walcott is my brothers doctor for over two years and we have found him to be kind, informative and very easy to speak with. I go into the room with my brother and I’ve been so hoppy with how he speaks directly to my brother rather than to me. One of the best doctors that my brother has. Office personnel have also been incredible nice and they are responsive to our needs.

I had a patio sliding door that had come off its track, and Handyman Services of CT LLC sent out Jason and John to help. Both men were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They quickly got the door back on track and working properly again.
Jason also spoke with my landlord about replacing the washers on the door. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he never tried to upsell unnecessary repairs or services.
In addition to fixing the patio door, they repaired a drawer in my bathroom and inspected my other two patio doors for any signs of trouble. Thankfully, no additional repairs were needed. They also took the time to look at two hallway closet door options and provided helpful recommendations on which type would work best.

I am very fussy about Dentists but today I was extremely pleased to find a quite outstanding dental group in Niantic CT called Niantic Dental ! I had a crown that detached this past weekend and Niantic Dental was able to get me in today to repair it and I just want to give a big shoot out to the Dentist and his assistant Nicole ! I couldn’t be more pleased with their attention to detail and professionalism !! Thank you so very much and I hope to become a regular patient with them !!

In my last appointment I had JJ work on my nails and I am very happy with how they came out. He worked fast and with precision, detail oriented and checked with me throughout the process to make sure each step is what I was asking for. My manicures have always lasted 3-4 weeks which for slow growth is ideal. The pedicures on the other hand have had some minor inconsistencies throughout my visits, but as a staff they are easy to talk to and take requests well (not with attitude like other nail salons).
