Grota Solna Salt Cave, in Niantic did not disappoint. Their staff was warm and friendly and greeted me with different varieties of infused waters, and a complimentary guava kombucha from East Coast Kombucha Co. I'm not usually a fan of kombucha, but it was really good! They have a beautiful gift shop with handmade soaps, lotions, jewelry, and of course, a large selection of beautiful salt lamps. After your massage session, you're escorted to a comfy chair where you can put your feet up on a heated salt lamp, so you can chill for a bit before getting dressed. Have been here several times over the last few years and it's always a wonderful and peaceful experience. The sound bath events in the salt cave are my favorite.
The shop area has a lot of unique and relaxing items, for self or would be great for gifts.
The salt cave experience was amazing!! I went with 2 friends and we ended up having the whole cave to ourselves! Very cool experience! 100% will do it again!!
