I believe its because of the dedication and passion of every teacher here. They truly love what they do and care about every single child! I am beyond happy that we decided to try out a class! We love you LMA!!!“

152 Amity Rd, New Haven“We joined taekwondo lessons with both of our sons in the past few months. They enjoy every lesson and have made a great progress!!
Our younger son just celebrated his 4th birthday with his friends there and we can only recommend it!
The kids had so much fun, they had a great activity, all was super organized and flexible for our needs.“

130 S Main St, Cheshire“My daughter started in July and absolutely loves JC Karate!! Master JC is so special and has an incredible way of making learning and personal growth fun! The other instructions we have had the pleasure of working with are also great and bring their own added value to my child’s practice. The monthly “homework” is a great way to bring conversation surrounding the values that the students are taught in karate into the home. I have loved having these thoughtful conversations with my daughter and now having mutually shared language to bring/reinforce these awesome values into our home. My daughter also has a new found sense of confidence and sense of belongingness, which is invaluable! We cannot recommend JC Karate enough!“

5:30 - 7:30PM
4133 Whitney Ave, Hamden“There are many martial art schools out there to select from. I recommend 100% + Alex Ziwak Martial Arts. Why? Alex is a seven degree black belt and knows many other types of material art disciplines plus an expert in self defense. He is humble, down to earth type of guy. If you join you will definitely learn techniques and be in better shape in time. I had always a great experience there when I was younger but never forget my own comfortable techniques if ever needed. Martial Arts is all about respect for others and able to defend yourself when needed. Consider yourself lucky and blessed to learn under Alex.“
5 - 8PM
1264 Meriden Rd, Waterbury“Long standing history here at Beaudoin Academy. Many Masters in Tang Soo Do trained here.“
4 - 9PM
900 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury“Both Jane Doe No More and the self-defense classes are an unparalleled combination of common sense (that is not so common), strength, conditioning and confidence building. Drew & his team are smart and engaging confidence builders, they make you feel safe, empowered and most importantly, they educate you. You feel a level of readiness that you did not know you needed.“
10AM - 12PM
766 Boston Post Rd, West Haven“I trained here as a child though my teens. I returned as an adult with a different perspective. West Haven Academy of Karate has helped me to improve my cardiac health, improve my fitness through strength training, improve my mental discipline, and provided this over-worked mom of 3 with much needed “me time”. I highly recommend West Haven Academy of Karate for children and adults.“
1 - 8:30PM
727 Rubber Avenue Mountview Plaza, Naugatuck“My granddaughter started at Sokol’s Taekwondo in the beginning of January. She has made amazing progress in such a short period of time. I see, rising self-confidence, increased body awareness and control, improved self-discipline, and longer sustained attention. Mr. Sokol is firm yet supportive. He expects respect for the instructor, fellow students, the dojo, and the martial arts while providing a fun experience for all. My granddaughter loves everything about this school. She recently earned a stripe for her belt and said, “ I am so proud of myself”. Thank you Mr. Sokol.“
4:30 - 8PM

5 - 7:30PM
799 New Haven Rd, Naugatuck“What are you looking for in a martial arts school? If you're like me, you want a place that teaches discipline, respect, and control (emotional, physical, spiritual). The master belts at this dojang (dojo) teach all of the above, in a nurturing environment of camaraderie and friendship. My son (black belt, first dan) and daughter (green belt) have both found a comfortable place of mutual respect and discipline, while also learning to do amazing feats of physical prowess. For anyone even curious about the Tang Soo Do (karate-do) way of life, I highly recommend you give USA MA Naugatuck a try.“

“20/10 "Grand Master Pereira is the rare find in the martial arts world: a true master who maintains the 'white belt' spirit. He is an incredible instructor and martial artist, but an even better human being. What sets him apart is his dedication to evolution. He doesn't just stick to Tang Soo Do; he constantly trains in various arts to ensure his students receive the most comprehensive and modern instruction possible. Despite his rank, his humility is unmatched—he has attended multiple workshops of mine as a student, proving he’s always looking to grow. Beyond the mats, his generosity is legendary. When I opened my new dojo, he personally donated 30 puzzle mats to help us get started. If you are looking for a mentor who leads by example, look no further than Grand Master Pereira."“
