Pereira's Academy of Karate in Bethany, CT is a wonderful place to learn and practice Karate. It is a Korean form of Karate with plenty of Gracie Jiu Jitsu mixed in. Each class gives you something else to learn and develop your skillset. My son loves Master Pereira and Team and comes home from each class eager to show me what he has learned. I am also a student of Master Pereira and Team Adult class, and I benefit from the class on so many different levels. Pereira's Academy of Karate is a real karate class that will be modified to your level of ability and effort. Master P has high levels of expectation and he is caring, observant and good-natured. My son has been studying at Pereira’s Academy of Karate for the past 3 months. It was a struggle to find a sport that he was interested as he always felt he had to be perfect or he’d let his coach down. Master Pereira has been incredible in helping build Bobby’s self confidence. Bobby loves going to class and learning new techniques.

Master P is an exceptional martial arts instructor. He has incredible patience and is amazing with kids. My daughter has always had an interest in karate, yet never felt comfortable at a studio to stick with it until she tried a class at Pereira’s Academy of Karate. She fell in love after the first class and now consistently looks forward to coming here every week! One of the many things that we love about this place are the class sizes. They are a perfect size as Master P is able to focus on each kid to help them learn new skills and master new techniques.
