27 Main St, Oakville“Great gym and great teachers. All the staff and students are friendly and you feel like family immediately. My daughter takes the kids BJJ class and she loves it. I myself have trained and shopped around at multiple gyms from MMA to BJJ and I've never felt more at home than at CT combat. I just have to add that the teachers for the kids class are great with kids. Helping not only with self defense but the kids are learning real life characteristics to bring home and to school like teamwork, respect and responsibility. Not only that the kids are having a lot of fun. Check this gym out and you won't be disappointed!!!“

My son plays lots of sports but really looks forward to his karate lessons. I highly recommend this place for kids of all walks of life.“

900 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury“Both Jane Doe No More and the self-defense classes are an unparalleled combination of common sense (that is not so common), strength, conditioning and confidence building. Drew & his team are smart and engaging confidence builders, they make you feel safe, empowered and most importantly, they educate you. You feel a level of readiness that you did not know you needed.“

727 Rubber Avenue Mountview Plaza, Naugatuck“My granddaughter started at Sokol’s Taekwondo in the beginning of January. She has made amazing progress in such a short period of time. I see, rising self-confidence, increased body awareness and control, improved self-discipline, and longer sustained attention. Mr. Sokol is firm yet supportive. He expects respect for the instructor, fellow students, the dojo, and the martial arts while providing a fun experience for all. My granddaughter loves everything about this school. She recently earned a stripe for her belt and said, “ I am so proud of myself”. Thank you Mr. Sokol.“

4 Primrose St, Newtown“A well-run gym and sports venue (indoor tennis, pickleball, basketball, soccer) with an exercise gym upstairs with a lot of equipment, and friendly and accommodating staff. Accepts Silver Sneakers. Downside: no sauna or hot tub, which is something I need.“
