“This family funeral home made my mother's complex funeral tolerable and less costly than what I believe their competitors may have done. Karen thoughtfully coordinated having my mother's body flown to be buried in California by another mortuary in California. She worked with my sister who lived near their funeral home and myself via phone in Michigan. This was a sad time and Karen's professionalism made this experience far less painful than it could have been. “After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant, however a family friend said to give Ballard Family Mortuary a try. I am so happy we did. I can't speak for everyone but my family's experience was as good as it could be under the circumstances. My advice would be just to be clear about what you want and what you do not want. The entire process is pretty much up to the family in the wants etc. You can build your services one piece at a time or purchase a package. Also, Mr. Ballard was honest & realistic about what to expect. What more could we ask for? I say give this small business a try. “Our funeral director was Jenny and she was amazing when she took care of my mother-in-law all the way up until her burial. We have used Romero before for previous family members funerals and we’ve always been satisfied with the service. She showed great care for my mother in law and all the requests we had for her resting. She was understanding of our huge family and took everybody’s thoughts into consideration before any decisions were made.. she was very communicative with us up until the burial. Any questions we had she was prompting answering, and she would respond to any questions we had and gave us a perfect timeline of when everything would take place and worked really well with the cemetery that my mother in law was going to be buried at. All in all, it was very good service and I would recommend them to anybody has a family member that has passed and you need burial services. The pricing is good as well.“
