“I am absolutely blown away by this vet! Dr. Buchholtz was able to keep my cat who used to be feral and hates the vet so calm during the whole appointment, not even using gabapentin! She even changed the tone and volume of her voice to keep her calm. She also stepped me through the whole process as she gave both cats their exam, which was so helpful especially with my senior 17-year-old cat, so I could know everything she was doing and what was going on with him.Dr. B also doesn't use a one-size-fits all approach. For my previously feral kitty, she used a hushed tone and a calming blanket after treats didn't help. For my senior cat, she kept him so happy with treats and pets, and he didn't even want to leave by the end!I truly have no words for how happy I am to have found a vet I can trust so completely with my babies. Also a huge shout out to the amazing/calming front desk worker and the vet tech who was so knowledgeable and kind! Thank you guys!!!!“
“Dr. Wheeler has been the FIRST veterinarian to regard my mini Jersey as more than mere cattle. He regarded her, the patient, with respect and I very much appreciate that. He also seems to be passing this philosophy and practice onto his assistant.His "bed-side" manner is excellent. He is kind and still efficient. “Absolutely cannot say enough about this incredible doctor and wonderful human being.For years, Dr Wheeler has worked with our Irish Wolfhounds. He has come to our house multiple times and is always gentle, understanding, and very knowledgeable.One of our dogs recently lost a heartbreaking battle with bone cancer, and Dr Wheeler handled the end in absolutely the most compassionate way possible. Our boy left us in peace, in his favorite place, surrounded by his people.You can't find a better vet.“

Both the tech and Dr. Tanguay were very professional and knowledgeable and took great care of our new pet. “Dr. Carson and her team are all amazing! After 3 years of working with them, I have nothing but positive things to say. I’ve taken all our fur babies here and they’ve handled all of them with such love and care, it made me feel so comfortable. I recently lost one of my kitties unexpectedly and it was very difficult. The staff were all so incredibly supportive and helpful with the grieving process, even went above and beyond to take my calls so I could ask questions about my surviving kitty to make sure she was okay. I truly feel this facility genuinely cares about you and your fur babies, and that’s priceless. Would highly recommend!“

“After having a very bad experience at another emergency veterinarian, I came here even though it was a longer drive. My dog was experiencing the same issue that caused the first trip to the other vet, but I decided to make the longer drive because I felt as though the other place had tried to milk as much out of me as they could and I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford the care my dog needed this time around. I was surprised just how different the experiences were. Royal Vista's staff was very competent and compassionate and while they did most of the same care as the first vet, the bill was almost half what I had been charged at the other place. Beyond that though, it was very comforting and easy to trust that my dog was getting good care since they didn't act like a shady car dealer. I will definitely be returning here if I am ever again in need of an emergency vet.“
