“I was on a search for a new vet and had tried several good ones, but I really landed here for several reasons:- We have a diverse group of pets including 'exotic' pets, and knowing we can take them all here makes it easier to get settled.- Care and attention to each pet. I don't think there is a pet who comes in who doesn't get told they are the best, and fully looked over. Our cat hates the vet and usually avoids me for at least a day after taking him in - he was (almost) relaxed in the vet and had almost no recovery time after coming in here. It's a bit less chaotic than most vets, and I think that's a huge part of it. The inspection room was secure enough that I felt comfortable letting him explore and get comfortable - not something I can do at all vets.- They are knowledgeable but also treat you as if you're knowledgeable. I was handed actual research papers when I asked questions and I loved that.- They seem to care and make connections. My husband and I came in separately with different pets and they immediately made connections between the two of us.I highly recommend this vet and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with them.“

“Dr. Suto is an extremely competent veterinarian. He is great with both animals and their guardians. I have been taking my pets to Chappelle Small Animal Hospital for over 20 years and have been nothing but very pleased with the doctors there. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I have to admit I have never asked for their power of attorney ? so I have no idea how they would respond to that.“

“Thank you Dr.Womack for figuring out why my cat Bonnie was having trouble eating. It turned out she has a large abdominal mass that is connected to her pancreas as well as some in her liver. Bonnie had been to a different vet at the end of September and had lost a small amount of weight and had a UTI. They did an exam and blood work and even though the results weren't normal they told me I had nothing to worry about, and to recheck her weight in November. Her weight was the same so I didn't think anything of it until I noticed her eating weird a few weeks ago and it kept getting worse. She looked like she was continuing to lose weight so I kept thinking something else has to be wrong.The other vet never felt the mass, which I'm pretty sure had to have already been there( but not as large) because her blood work wasn't normal at the time. The mass just wasn't effecting her eating yet. By the time I brought her in to Chappelle it had grown very large. I am hoping we can figure out a treatment plan for my cat as I don't know what I would do without her, but I also don't want her to ever suffer. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, and truly cares about the best options for your pet. I'll continue to bring my pets to Chappelle animal hospital because I trust that they know best“

Everyone was, my family is so very grateful they were able to see us as soon as they did and that they do see ferrets even though they don't outright advertise it. Unfortunately my sweet baby girl was now necessarily beyond help but outside the likelihood of being able to lead a healthy life so we made the extremely difficult choice and eased her pain to the other side. “My kitty ate one of his sparkle ball toys puked most of it up but I brought him in just to be sure he was okay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They were super gentle and went out of their way to make sure my kitty was comfortable. He doesn’t handle going to the vet very well he gets scared. They answered all of my questions and concerns. They even noted his chart that he needs a few minutes to calm down before examination so that the next time we come in the doctor will already be aware. They seemed to actually care about the wellbeing of my kitty and his comfort which is much appreciated. Superb service!“

“We have been taking Mikey to this Vet since 2018 when he was first adopted. He got neutered at this hospital and Dr. Boehmer has been taking excellent care of him. My experience with Dr Boehmer has been wonderful so far, he knows what your dog needs and will advise nothing more than what’s needed. Mikey has been diagnosed with an ACL injury and Dr Boehmer called me on a Saturday to confirm there is nothing serious, so I don’t ruin my weekend thinking about it. That said, Mikey will be undergoing a surgery under his supervision, and I am confident that with the love and care Mikey has received so far, he will be able to walk and run like he used to.
