We are new to the area and looked for a cat specific vet. We have 3 cats and we are extremely pleased with Dr Buckholtz and staff. From making the appointment to paying our bill every person was pleasant and professional. Both Ryan, the vet tech and Dr Buckholtz was extremely thorough, thoughtful and kind. We have 2 easy cats and one orange male who can be very spicey with anyone touching his backside and trimming nails. Dr B was so patient and understanding and took all the time we needed to get his exam done. Slowly went through each of the cats and gave very thorough exams. I took my two semi feral barn cats to them for a dematting and shots. I was ready for a knock down drag out fight with these cats as they were not handled much until I bought their barn (they came with it).
As I opened the carrier in the exam room the calm atmosphere, gentle vet tech and doctor put my cats at ease and made the whole experience amazingly relaxed.
No leather gloves, no restraints just calm professional care. My cats were trimmed and shots given with no issues at all.
They even spent the time and care to trim my cats fur while they were awake. This helped me avoid a $500+ procedure and I think was better for my cats in the long run.

Brought in Alfie and Ollie today for a wellness and vaccinations appointment and I can not stress enough how awesome the entire staff was! The vet tech and vet were incredibly kind and gentle with both of the boys. I felt like they listened to my concerns about their history with illness and we came up with a solid game plan going forward. Thank you all so much for welcoming us to your clinic and making the experience a positive one!
