“Dr. Shea is one of a kind. He’s a vet from yesteryear. You can see in his eyes and the way he engages that he deeply cares not just for his furry patients, but also for his patient’s owners. Unfortunately we lost our beautiful Stella but it’s comforting to know we had Dr. Shea beside for half of her life. Dr. Shea and his staff are thoughtful, knowledgeable and overall top notch.”
“Dr Duncan is competent. Coming from a super-critical dude like me, that's high praise. I brought my sick kitty there, expressed my sense of urgency, and I got in the same day. An x-ray revealed a mass in the lung. Dr was uncertain what was going on, and engaged a specialist. Once a firm diagnosis occurred, she prescribed the right treatment. This is high competence. Vet care seems expensive in 2024, and without getting into an economic tirade, the bottom line is if you want an educated competent Doc with staff, an office and tech equipment to be there the next time you need them, you're gonna have to pay a living wage. For my part, it's time to look into pre-paid insurance plans. I will be returning to Dr Duncan and her Clinic.”
“My dog loves coming to Left Hand. He is so relaxed he lies down patiently waiting for staff. The veterinarians are all warm, caring and attentive. They never push unnecessary tests or procedures, and clearly view vet medicine as preventive. Everyone from front desk to tech assistants are cheerful, friendly and supportive. I have had two beloved dogs cross the rainbow bridge, and I can't say enough how appreciative I am of the loving and empathic care they took with us. You and your pet will feel welcome and well cared for.”
“Best vet in Longmont! The care our animals received from every single employee here is amazing. You can tell that they're really looking out for the best interest of your pet above all things. We sadly had to put two of our dogs down recently, due to their failing health due to their age. The first one was planned and the doctor and vet tech came to our house and the entire experience was beautiful and what you would hope for your fur baby's last moment. Our sweet boy dog needed to be euthanized in an emergency, following a 9 min seizure, and they got us in right away and helped him pass comfortably. It was such a a difficult situation, but even the doctor teared up. You can truly tell they all really care about you and your pet. Not to mention their prices are super reasonable and they don't try to push unnecessary products or tests on you. You can't go wrong choosing them as your vet!”
