4800 Baseline Rd ste d-206, Boulder“Several weeks into attending classes and I’m feeling my body shift and open up. I’ve struggled with tight hips, carrying stress in my neck and shoulders, even ankle and foot issues, and I’ve seen changes in each of those areas since I’ve started. Things I’ve been working on for years, changing in a matter of weeks. At the end of every class, my level of body awareness is increased, and it gives me joy to feel how different parts of my body move. I also get a charge from the practice, like energetic zoomies, that makes for a great way to start the day.All the instructors are attentive, and provide clear cues, and the flows are structured to challenge you no matter what level you’re at. And it’s a beautiful space to practice in. I can’t recommend these classes enough.“

1800 30th St #206, Boulder“I cannot say enough about Core Wisdom, the owner, Kim Robins, and the other students who attend either private or group classes. The expert instruction Kim offers is individualized, creative and effective. She is experienced working with higher level athletes as well as clients who require more nuance and possible modifications due to injuries or ongoing limitations. Kim is always prepared through her on going study and years of experience, to give a challenging organized workout to her students. She is kind, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. The culture of the studio is uplifted and inclusive, a great place to get fit and stay fit. As a physical therapist who is very picky about form and safety, I don't hesitate to send clients Kim's way! Igive this studio the best grade possible. Highly recommend!“

2575 Pearl St STE 320, Boulder“Yoga Shala is a truly wonderful place! I have studied Iyengar Yoga in many different studios across our country and have found no studio more clean, airy and beautiful. But even more important, the instructors are so so good! I am so grateful to have been a student at the Shala since I moved to Boulder more than 10 years ago. Three years ago I also began participating in a weekly meditation group, which is a better experience than I could ever have imagined. I have studied both online and in person and will always be grateful to have this rich resource in my life.“

Her massages are mindful, therapeutic, and intense, but in the best way possible. I have never felt more relaxed after a massage in my life! I can tell she really has a way of tuning into my body to know what it needs- so amazing!“

1350 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont“I was back in town for two weeks and was searching for a yoga studio to practice and was recommended Sol19. They had a great intro offer! I was able to participate in numerous classes taught by amazing yogis (Tam, Shauna, Ingrid, Emily, Jesse, Jenny, and Alie) — I felt right at home. The studio is vibrant, clean, and very spacious! They have multiple class offerings which switch time depending on the day. I do wish Sol19 scheduled classes that you’d be able to double — i.e power ends 30 minutes before yin as I frequently double Hatha and Power at my home studio in WA State. One of the yoga instructors, Emily, helped me find a Rocket class back in Seattle — I highly recommend Rocket 101 if you want to grow more comfortable with inversions like myself. If I am ever back in town, I know I will be spending my time at Sol19!“

4750 Quail Creek Ln, Boulder“Calming Kids Yoga is a heartfelt nonprofit, and in my opinion, exactly what the world needs right now! They have all the trainings and products you’ll need to share yoga with pre-k through high school aged youth. The evidence based curriculum includes kids yoga classes, teacher training, staff in-services and many products, like books and audiobooks. It’s easy to weave the material into a home practice with your kids or any kind of educational setting. I’m so happy I found CK and would recommend them to any parent, teacher or school administrator!“

I have tried many, many, many gyms in Boulder and nothing comes close to Kondition. The cleanliness and amenities make the workout and space only that much better.“

9161, 11747 N 75th St, Longmont“Temple is a masterful and loving massage therapist. As soon as I walk into her uplifted space, I know I will be treated to a transcendent experience! I always feel extremely well cared for and nurtured by her. I love putting “Temple massage” on my calendar. The word “temple” comes from the Latin word “templum,” which refers to a sacred sanctuary. A session with Temple is just that—a sacred healing journey.“

2203 Holyoke Dr, Boulder“I'm an average yogi...and perhaps my limited experience doesn't even warrant calling myself a yogi. Nonetheless YL is a wonderful welcoming environment where I always feel comfortable and supported. When I find myself in awkward moments, each instructor seems to effortlessly find their way over with a gentle suggestion. I also recognize the knowledge and skill with all staff members. Typical classes start with the instructors asking questions of the class as to mood, areas to focus...and then they find ways to address. You won't be disappointed.“

“Julie is experienced, compassionate, attentive and knew how to listen to my needs and get to the core of my issues...then apply the right technique to speed healing with just the right amount of pressure. She checked in a lot to be sure we were aligned. Her massage space was quiet, clean, warm, with relaxing music. I appreciated that she didn't use highly fragranced or 'oily' oils. Would definitely recommend!“

“In all of my adventurous life, I had not taken a yoga class until Kerry encouraged me to attend her women's temple class. This setting was the perfect introduction to group yoga and has provided a foundation for me to grow in my practice. Kerry's gentle, welcoming spirit encourages us to step into this experience that can be life-changing on a daily basis. Her guidance is humble, patient, and nurturing. Thank you for creating a space where together we nurture ourselves and, in turn, our community. I highly recommend Yoga with Kerry Temple-Wood.“
