Flooring in Fort Collins

“2/12 changing my review from one star to 4. Ruth the install manager reached out and refunded the transition cost, 1/2 the baseboard fee (this is absolutely fair because we did need 1/2 removed, just not reinstalled) and then the appliance removal fee.
Appreciate the communication and help getting this resolved.

2/6 Our first install from the Fort Collins store was ok, the 2nd install there was some confusion on the appliance removal fee (we didn’t need anything removed) but that was figured out. The installer was awesome and explained everything well.
The third visit was very disorganized. It was a bedroom install this time, we were charged an appliance removal fee. It was brought up at least 2x that we didn’t have any appliances or beds that need to be removed in this bedroom. It was never removed from the invoice and never refunded.
When install day came we did need help removing the baseboard, initially we thought we would be able to get it removed but had a family emergency that took priority. Even though we told the store we only needed 1/2 the baseboard removed that we were not able to finish and nothing reinstalled we were charged $220 for a removal AND reinstall. The $90 was brought up again and we were told it would be removed and we would pay the difference.

Once the install was completed we noticed the wrong transition had been installed from our tile to the new floor. A flat transition was used when it should have been tapered. We asked for it to be fixed and were told that it would be an additional $45 to order the correct transition. When asked why we had to pay ‘I was told to order that transition, the person who measured never said anything about it.’

I asked both the installer and the sales rep if I could talk to the install manager and never heard back from her. I called the store directly and requested a call back and never heard anything.“

“It’s easy to give this team of highly talented, dedicated and professional individuals high marks in every category. Every person that worked on my project, including all of the outside contractors, was courteous, professional, friendly, and talented in their specific area of expertise. They worked hard to deliver a final product that would thrill me and of which they could be proud. Two standouts that deserve to be mentioned by name are Emily, who did all of the planning and design, and Andy, who did the majority of the construction work on the project. Emily is a gifted designer who was able to reimagine the available space into two new bathrooms that are fresh, spacious, and beautiful. Andy‘s meticulous craftsmanship and obvious pride in a job well done delivered a final product that far exceeded my expectations. While there was one unexpected additional cost to my project for electrical work, it was related to existing safety issues, and options were given to secure the safety of my home while still keeping the project within budget if I didn’t feel comfortable with the additional cost. I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome, and every day that I walk into those spaces, I am grateful to have them and glad that I chose EHeart to deliver them!“

It seems most floor refinishers do not like small jobs but Select was available (unlike some flooring companies that either never returned our call or called weeks later). They were able to schedule the job very quickly and we LOVE the new stain color. Alex and John, who did the work, were great to work with and even returned the day after they’d finished to move an island back into our kitchen so we didn’t have to roll it over the new floor.
