Best massage experience of my life. I went in for a deep tissue massage, 120min bc my muscles are like rocks. Bryce pulled out all the stops, fascial release, trigger points gone, just the right pressure to really get the job done. His vibe is phenomenal. He is well versed in all types of naturopathic medicines and modalities of spiritual healing. It was a truly transcendent experience. When it time for preparing college applications, I knew how important it is & how it would affect my son’s future.
I had choices between Michael or few others companies that also has a pretty good review but the reason I picked Michael was he handles whole process ~ from preparing SAT to submitting the applications ~ by himself and only takes 12 students a year, so I knew it will be very personalized and he would be able to pay close attention to my son.
To start, communication was super easy, as he always responds very promptly and as he starts to work with my son, he always gives a clear update on what is going on.
SAT went very well. My son was at the top 1%, scoring 1530.
Next came the real deal; preparing ~ I mean really put out the plans for the following months.
This is very important step which you should start as early as possible so there won’t be any missteps.
Michael was able to come up with a few ideas and recognize my son’s true potential which brought him to a huge success.
Final result: early acceptance to Columbia University of New York.
I couldn’t be any happier about choosing Michael.

I absolutely love this place. Larry was my stylist for about two and a half years when I lived in LA previously, and now again the last year and a half or so. I have been thrilled with my haircut every single time and he is incredibly kind and down to earth. The other stylists Charlie and Angelo are very kind too and while I have only worked with Larry personally, I have recommended friends and family to the salon that have worked with Angelo and Charlie and were very pleased. They are very reasonably priced and the location is great. I am rarely in LA, but when I do get to CA I make sure to stop by Sarah English Salon for a color refresh. Sarah makes my color look rich, and styles my hair in a way to make my thin hair look fuller. She is always so patient in trying to decifer what I want. She is the best hair colorist I have seen and I wish I lived closer!! She makes me feel 10 years younger

I’ve been getting skin fades for years, and I’m very particular about having a consistent barber. I originally found Alex online and appreciated his portfolio. After giving it a test, I can definitely say that I am EXTREMELY happy with the cuts. I have now been going to Alex for four months. He takes the time to explain his thought process and why he is taking a certain approach. My hair grows back quickly, but Alex’s cut keep the skin fade for as long as possible. I’d highly highly recommend him.

I had heard about and seen Terri's work before I had a session. A friend had told me that Terri had completely removed all the stress from her face and made her glow again. Another friend told me she went to see Terri instead of having any kind of surgery or Botox. As soon as I met Terri I knew that my friends had not been exaggerating. Terri is not a classic facialist. There are a million people who do that in LA - but there is only one person who does what Terri does. She works with who you really are, on a deep energetic level, so your face can let go of any stress, any trauma, of anything that isn't you, and transform into the best possible version of you. When I stepped out of Terri's office, I couldn't believe it - I finally looked like me again, but a glowing me. It was the best I have ever looked in my life and a deeply emotional experience. Love this place. Got my first few tattoos here with Jay few months ago and I had a really great experience. I was a little nervous for the pain (I'm scared of needles) but I was suprise at how it feels kinda good lol. Jay really let me take my time with my designs and placement and the shop is really clean and tidy. I checked out some other local shops and tbh can't say they're as clean. Playink is the place to go! I went back a few weeks ago for a larger piece and again had a great experience from Jay, Jojo, and Lexi. Ended up getting an additional flash while I was there. I've recommended to all my friends and plan to go back soon whenever I decide on my next design.

Tattoos start at $100 and go up from there Tattoo Mania has been on Sunset Blvd for 37 years. The owner is awesome, his apprentice awesome. The overall aesthetic was retro, biker, horror movie vibe with a decorative bathroom giving Elvis the spotlight with horror movie wall art blending in seamlessly. They were pleasant, chatty, professional, clean, quiet space. Highly recommend if you're in the LA area that you stop by Tattoo Mania for all your artwork needs. There is a lot of history in this building, the owner has great stories to share and from the moment you walk into this shop you just feel like you're home.

He came out to do a repair & realized it wasn't necessary. Most people would have found something else to charge for or done the repair anyway. The fact that he didn't made me really trust him & will definitely be calling for future work.

I was having an issue with a leaky toilet and a bad valve. Avi was able to come in record time, fixed everything, installed a new angle stop valve on the wall and a new valve in the toilet, and gave me a few tips to save water. All this for a very reasonable price.
Hopefully I won't need to fix more plumbing any soon, but if I do I'm definitely calling him back. 5*

My how time flies... 6 years ago, Greenart Landscape Design (Brent) created an OASIS with just one brief consultation, and he had the vision I was unable/incapable of seeing. He took a lumpy incline of grass and really unusable space and turned it into a tri- level of heaven. I left him the gate keys while on a 12 day vacation, and I returned home to a space that was truly unrecognizable.
The quality of Brent and his teams work is OUTSTANDING. There is absolutely no price tag to put on his exceptional work with all the attention to every detail. Even after 6 years , I still see new variations of flowers and plants. The best investment I've made to truly have indoor and outdoor space for entertaining.
Although my home wasn't in the garden tour this year, it was depicted in the current advertisement.

Such a beautiful and high tech dentist office!!! Dr Borzoo is one of only seven dentists in LA with the GBT cleaner - gives you a deep clean without using any metal tools! It’s done with high pressure water and it truly didn’t even feel like a cleaning it was so easy. I will definitely be coming back just so that I never have to have a regular cleaning again. And everyone who works there is so sweet. Cannot reccomend enough

I was snoring for years but I had no idea that I had sleep apnea. My dentist at Wilshire smile studio send me for sleep test and sure enough I had sleep apnea. After doing some research, I realized the harm that it was doing to my body. I was like wowww…….
I was given the option to see a medical doctor and get a CPAP or to get a oral appliance at Wilshire smile studio in order to open the airway so my body can get the oxygen it needs when I’m sleep.
Since I didn’t want to deal with a machine that restricts me from moving in my bed at night, I went for the oral appliance option.
Not only my snoring issue has been resolved, I don’t feel fatigue anymore. I feel a lot more energetic in life.
I think Wilshire smile studio saved my life with helping me resolve this issue.
Dr. Vester is very professional, gentle, and focused on individualized care.

It's been awhile since my last review of Dr. Fox so a quick update. Dr. Fox took care of both my older cats until the very end. Sadly last September he had to come over to help my girl cross over the Rainbow Bridge. This month he did the same for my boy. I can't say enough how grateful I am to Dr. Fox. He is such a kind and talented man. He cares about both your pets and their families. I can not recommend him enough!
I’m honestly shocked by the negative reviews. I’ve brought my dog here for the past 5 years since she was a puppy and always received good care. She’s had two surgeries which I was super anxious about and all went well. In my experience the doctors have always been kind and listened to my concerns. I’m the person that will opt in for the additional testing when offered up because I want peace of mind. Yes, it’s definitely pricey, but personally I will pay any amount to ensure my baby gets the best possible care when needed. I also appreciate that they’ve always been able to accommodate a next day appointment, sometimes even same day, which I know is not the case everywhere!
So nice having all three machine- reformer, cadillac and chair. First studio I’ve been too in LA that this exists. Highly recommended!

Best massage experience of my life. I went in for a deep tissue massage, 120min bc my muscles are like rocks. Bryce pulled out all the stops, fascial release, trigger points gone, just the right pressure to really get the job done. His vibe is phenomenal. He is well versed in all types of naturopathic medicines and modalities of spiritual healing. It was a truly transcendent experience. I have been going to this salon for massage for about 4 years, usually once every two months. I do not choose a specific massage therapist, but go at a time that is convenient for me, all the people working there are good specialists. Easy to book last minute, professional staff and Julian was an incredible massage therapist. He gave an awesome sports massage that I need from all my Tennis and Pickleball activity. I thought the prices were very reasonable. I'll be going back.
When I entered the spa, a very attractive lady explained the different rates to me and I decided go for the half hour option. I was surprised by how nice the room was and how comfortable the table was. The masseuse asked me if there were any areas in particular I wanted addressed. I told her to start with my neck and shoulders. She asked me if I wanted hard or soft. I told her medium. She put in good amount of effort and had a really nice touch. Next time I might try the hot stones massage!

I love Barlow Clinic and have been here for nearly every service they offer. I’m somewhat picky about massages and Jonathan is hands down the best masseuse I have ever had. I recommend him to everyone I know. I prefer deeper massages but not so crazy that they hurt - Jonathan is extremely professional, knows what he is doing and has the most calming energy. Marty is also a great masseuse and does some really incredible referral/trigger point work if you are interested in that.For acupuncture, Nicholas is amazing- his energy is so gentle and he is really intuitive. I have felt great emotional release from his acupuncture and cupping has helped my recovery so much.Sandra for PT is on another level. She has diagnosed things for me that other PTs have gotten wrong or not been sure about. The thing I love about her the most is that she is really invested in helping you understand your and what’s going on - she doesn’t just give you exercises without explanation, she teaches you by showing you on her little model skeletons how movement patterns affect different nerve systems, muscles, etc. Highly recommend!Last but not least Dr. Mensah is a highly regarded and super professional chiropractor. He has helped me with upper back issues and I have friends he has helped get over a myriad of hip and other issues.Also the space is gorgeously curated and just a generally pleasant experience to go- don’t miss this place!
I cannot be more thankful for Dr. Lim. He has great reviews for a reason!! As a military combat Veteran, I've been dealing with multiple chronic pain due to chronic post-op pain for the last decade. After a couple of sessions, I haven't felt this good, genuinely gives me tears of joy after Dr. Lim's treatments. For those that suffer from chronic pain, you'll understand. Dr Lim is also a Veteran of the R.O.K Army (Republic of Korea), a retired mechanical engineer and now a phenomenal Doctor. He is very meticulous when applying acupuncture and cupping...I believe its from him being analytical from engineering experience. I am completely impressed because he understands how the body is wired. Over the years, I've had my fair share of a dozen other acupuncturist but Dr Lim has been the best; providing top quality patient care. The office and room are clean and soothing. Dr. Lim takes his time and gets to know exactly where you are feeling pain and how painful it is and will adjust his treatment according to your tolerance. He first administers acupuncture and followed by cupping which you don't realize how tight and stiff you are until he does it. It will loosen you up! I highly recommend Dr. Lim if you are experiencing pain or if you are just not feeling well or keeping your body fine tuned. His knowledge and care is well worth it!

My friend has been going here for a few years for acupuncture and has had a really good experience. My first visit was for ear seeding. I was super excited, curious and not 100% convinced this would work for me. The seeding takes less than 10min and wow, it works! Right as my first ear was finished, I felt a small sense of relaxation. I went from sitting up straight to a slight slouch. Then after both ears were done, I felt slightly light-headed and relaxed. This lasted for about 10 minutes and I loved it. I have a few more days to experience this but so far I'm impressed. You don't really realize the seeds are there and feel a sense of calm. Looking forward to see if this helps me sleep a little too. Highly recommend to give it a try.
