“We had our house texcoted by CA Energy Contractors about 15 years ago. Most of the texcote on our house has held up pretty well all these years with the exception of a few spots where the house and the ground meet. Alex from the company informed us that something called efflorescence was coming through the stucco and was causing the texcote to bubble in these areas. Alex kindly let us know that there would be no charge to fix these areas, since we are good customers of theirs. He was also able to send a piece of the texcote coming off to his lab to prepare a texcote paint that color matched the area that needed repair. I wanted an established company that did their single job expertly; i wanted a company that was valued by other professionals. It's just fact: i will only get the roof replaced once on my house, which is not enough interaction to establish a relationship with a vendor--I needed to rely on an existing relationship.Preferred Roofing was excellent from the first phone call. David is not merely charming, he is 100% invested in being the best--his easy good nature comes from confidence, and that confidence comes from his team. Everyone at Preferred Roofing is a good & courteous worker. They came by a couple times in advance to check requirements and explain the process. They even handled interactions with the HVAC guys. Everyone was straightforward, all communication was clear & concise.The wait list was a few months, which confirmed my choice: I wanted workers that spent their time working. The crew was like a military unit--organized & efficient, and totally autonomous. I stayed out of their way. It took three days, there were no complications and not even any questions. If they had asked questions, i simply would have told them to do whatever was the best solution--the whole team obviously knew roofs more completely than i can imagine. “Had a solar panel system installed because of the ever rising price of electricity. Sunergy was responsive and reasonably priced compared to other solar companies. They also were the only company that could install solar panels before next year (had panels, etc. preordered and in stock). They installed the system in one day. It looks quite professional (everything secured, level, wiring as stealth as possible, etc.). Just waiting for CMP to inspect and give the OK to turn it all on.“

“This review is a long time coming! I will always be a loyal customer of this company! Mike's has done 4 projects now on our house and will be the only roofer we ever use. They have never gouged me on the price, they are quick (the last project took two days, not the three days that were planned for) and extremely neat (they even folded my tarp and put it in my carport and you couldn't even tell there was work done after they left.) They have been honest about the age of my roof and when it will need to be entirely replaced, unlike other companies that have tried to get me to replace the whole thing when it still has 10 years left. They even went ABOVE AND BEYOND this last time, fixing an entire section of my roof when the insurance would only cover 200 sq. ft.
