Dependable Heating, led by Mike, is a highly recommended heating contractor known for their attention to detail and quick, efficient service. When customers have had issues, Mike has been available and able to promptly diagnose and repair the problems. He is knowledgeable about furnace lifespans and provides valuable tips on efficient use and maintenance. Mike replaced a furnace in the fall, and the new furnace has been working out well. He takes the time to explain projects and keep customers informed about progress. Despite differing interests, Mike has earned the respect and gratitude of his customers for his excellent service.
Michael did a terrific job installing 2 new furnaces, active air filters and Air Conditioning - he is very knowledgeable and noticeably less expensive than most HVAC contractors. his installation included noise damping so we cannot hear the HVAC is on but it is extremely effective and efficient. He is sometimes hard to connect to as he is very busy but is highly worth the wait. Having had HVAC installs in our homes in the past I can testify that he is among the best i have known.
Michael is terrific - he has been available when we had issues and always repaired the problem quickly and then explained the source of the problem in clear detail. I highly recommend Michael and dependable heating. As other reviews have noted "he is a stickler for the details" and is truly "dependable".
Our heater died in the middle of winter. I called 4 heating contractors and Mike at Dependable came over at the end of his day and rapidly diagnosed the issue. He was able to get the part and repair the issue quickly and efficiently that same evening. Super responsive, Truckee local contractor. He educated me on the ideal scenario for repair and where I was in the lifespan of our furnace. He also gave me many tips on how to use the furnace more efficiently and reduce stressors to make it last longer. All of this from a dirt bike rider! As a mountain biker we do t always get along but he was able to look beyond that and do a great job for me. Now I have more respect for dirt bikers and my family is warm! Thanks Mike!
