“I am not one to typically post a review but I feel obligated to do so as Brandon and his team at Nu Design provided me with a superb experience through and through.I just finished remodeling my first home and i reached out to 5 different companies to help me out with my kitchen and closets. “I was referred to Vick by a friend of ours in regards to a kitchen remodel I wanted done. I had never tackled a project like this before and was actually very intimidated at first. I contacted Vick and set up an appointment to come out to his shop to discuss my plans. He was very flexible. I being a mechanic myself am very very picky on who I like to work on and touch my belongings. When I walked into his shop to find him actively working and was very relived to find it organized. I discussed with him my ideas and he improved on my ideas by providing his expertise and professional input with design ideas and such, which I ended up going with due to the fact they were brilliant. I ended up doing all the demo on my kitchen, (Personal choice to save money) and setting it up for him so he can come install everything. He guided me on how to run certain things and where they should be and how I should leave it for him. During install Vick and his colleague were very meticulous while installing my cabinets taking their time to be exact and never doubted my inputs. During installation I had changed some ideas around and he was able to work with them building me an extra cabinet that wasn't on the original plan. Kitchen ended up looking AMAZING and all the little spaces of the old useless kitchen are now being used because of his brilliant ideas. “After experiencing a slab leak in our kitchen just days before Christmas, we were stressed to find a kitchen remodeling business. During the scope of our search, we came upon GD Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling, based in Woodland Hills. Kevin, their in-house designer provided the complete layout design and elevations. Annie helped me envision what I wanted by showing me the most gorgeous kitchens they've installed in mansions from Hollywood and Beverly Hills to Malibu. Plus they were way more affordable than every other cabinet shop I'd investigated. When it came time for the installation Tulio and Luis worked in my home like it was their own. They were super tidy. “We wanted to create a new kitchen cabinet for the refrigerator that would also house a pull-out pantry. Rory at Heartwood was prompt to respond to inquiries and after some initial discussion, was able to provide a sketch of the project. I was impressed with her attention to detail, including ancillary issues unrelated to the cabinet itself (making sure we knew to get water and plumbing moved for the refrigerator, taking into account the position of overhead lighting, etc).
