“I was referred to Vick by a friend of ours in regards to a kitchen remodel I wanted done. I had never tackled a project like this before and was actually very intimidated at first. I contacted Vick and set up an appointment to come out to his shop to discuss my plans. He was very flexible. I being a mechanic myself am very very picky on who I like to work on and touch my belongings. When I walked into his shop to find him actively working and was very relived to find it organized. I discussed with him my ideas and he improved on my ideas by providing his expertise and professional input with design ideas and such, which I ended up going with due to the fact they were brilliant. I ended up doing all the demo on my kitchen, (Personal choice to save money) and setting it up for him so he can come install everything. He guided me on how to run certain things and where they should be and how I should leave it for him. During install Vick and his colleague were very meticulous while installing my cabinets taking their time to be exact and never doubted my inputs. During installation I had changed some ideas around and he was able to work with them building me an extra cabinet that wasn't on the original plan. Kitchen ended up looking AMAZING and all the little spaces of the old useless kitchen are now being used because of his brilliant ideas. “Albert of GC Woodworking has completed two jobs for us, both beautifully done. He is easy to work with and a pleasure to deal with. He knows his stuff and is a real professional. Years ago, he rescued cabinets in our kitchen that were lovely but were sagging and threatening to fall. Seven years later, the repaired cabinets are still in great shape. Albert has now completed a second job for us. He did new cabinetry work, including on a Lazy Susan cabinet that had never easily turned. Now it turns easily. “I LOVE my kitchen cabinets. If you are remodeling a kitchen in Los Angeles do yourself the biggest favor and make an appointment with Showcase. Peter and Annie were exceptional. With 30 years of experience they were able to make my kitchen dreams a reality. Showcase has a large clean workshop in the San Fernando Valley where they fabricate custom cabinetry. Kevin, their in-house designer provided the complete layout design and elevations. Annie helped me envision what I wanted by showing me the most gorgeous kitchens they've installed in mansions from Hollywood and Beverly Hills to Malibu. Plus they were way more affordable than every other cabinet shop I'd investigated. When it came time for the installation Tulio and Luis worked in my home like it was their own. They were super tidy. Their work - immaculate. Peter stopped by several times a day, watching every detail of the job like a hawk. He is really the artist who makes the entire project come together PERFECTLY. “We wanted to create a new kitchen cabinet for the refrigerator that would also house a pull-out pantry. Rory at Heartwood was prompt to respond to inquiries and after some initial discussion, was able to provide a sketch of the project. I was impressed with her attention to detail, including ancillary issues unrelated to the cabinet itself (making sure we knew to get water and plumbing moved for the refrigerator, taking into account the position of overhead lighting, etc). The project took about three weeks, which matched the estimate given at the beginning. The installation was fast and neatly done and the new cabinet is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.“

“Kurt was great to deal with. Based on our past purchase from Western States for another project, he provided initial sketches and pricing for what we needed this time. We met with him to refine the design and understand our options. He told us that his pricing would beat the big box stores and even other local shops that use specialty or smaller cabinet manufacturers. The brands that Western States sells are primarily from either the MasterBrands or Elkay cabinet groups. Sure enough, we went to Lowe's and got pricing for Diamond Reflections. Western States beat that pricing by far (including tax and delivery), even with the higher end Omega cabinets. We also got pricing on Showplace cabinets, and Kurt also beat them. But most important, Kurt has been a pleasure to work with. He understood what we were looking for, was on point with the paperwork, and has always been quick to respond to calls and emails. He was upfront if we could get a better deal on built-ins from another vendor. He also triple checked the order to make sure all needed pieces were included and unneeded ones were excluded. Basically, I felt that Kurt was looking out for our interests. Being an engineering consultant, I really appreciate his approach to customer service and salesmanship. I'll update this review once the cabinets are installed, which should be in the next month.“

“Cabinet spot was significantly cheaper than competitors in our area. My friend used them in his home so I was able to see them before buying. The rep I worked with was very helpful and offered suggestions based off of experience. When they were delivered one cabinet was damaged. “I was looking for a good cabinet maker with reasonable prices and I was happy we found Molina Cabinets. They really lived up to their high rating. We contracted Omar and his crew to build a new kitchen Island, new cabinets for the living room. Since we were going to replace the kitchen counters with Quartz and Omar told me they also do those, we contracted him to do that as well. They do outstanding work and on time. We added a couple of kitchen cabinets which they also finished on time and made our kitchen look modern and new. Omar and his team are very professional but also easy going and gave us excellent recommendations to the brick aground the living room fireplace. He recommended 4'x2' tile that ended up looking amazing and did not cost very much. At the end of the job, there were a few minor workmanships things that we wanted fix, which they did quickly and at no extra cost. We were extremely happy with their work and and very happy with our "new" kitchen, and living room. We plan to use Molina Cabinets to upgrade our master bathroom after the holidays. We recommend them for high quality work at reasonable prices.“

“Working with Alejandro and his team was easy and seamless from start to finish. I reached out with a pretty specific request for a built in seating/record storage area and provided him my rough sketches and measurements for the piece. Alejandro responded to me quickly, provided me with a professional quote and timeline for the project which was adhered to from start to finish, even with a few minor tweaks to the design as we realized we needed to make some small changes. The built in seating area came out perfectly and really added the special something we needed in what was otherwise a pass through space; it has truly become to centerpiece of our home. We have had other handymen and craftspeople work on other projects since and all of them comment on how beautifully made the built-ins are that Alejandro and his team created. We are preparing to renovate another property and already thinking of the pieces we can have collaborate with Woodharmonic on to elevate the design of the space.“

“On three separate occasions we used Tarwat's Hollywood Refinishing and Associates. That in itself tells the story. Otherwise, why would we use him three times. 1. In early 2021 we re-did the Kitchen Cabinets2. Then in 2021 we completely re-did the Master Bathroom3. In 2022 we re-did the Family Room, including building a new 12+ ft Entertainment Center Cabinet with a Quartz Top and a Quartz Rebuild of the Fireplace.Tarwat was always responsive and kept the project moving. His prices seem fair and his crew was right on top of the projects. There is no question I would recommend him to others.I might add, I am not a rookie using contractors. I have had my fair share of good and bad. The one prior to Hollywood Refinishers was a near disaster.The mark of an excellent contractor is where the work gets better with more projects.
