“I selected Sigura Construction because they were a Diamond Certified company. I have in general had good success with Diamond Certified companies. They were contracted to replace the entire front staircase in the duplex that I own in San Mateo because of extensive leaking and dry rot. Adi Lev was their project manager and did an outstanding job of coordinating everything from design, engineering plans, city permits and approvals, material selection and execution. After completion of the staircase, a general overall property inspection found some water leakage under the new staircase. Adi was right on it, did several extensive water tests, corrected the problem, and did additional water tests. All is good. Water leak was resolved. Adi showed a strong attention to detail through the process, was easy to work with, and provided frequent updates on the project. I was very satisfied with the work done. My only issue is that the job took longer than I anticipated.

The walls were leveled, and then beautiful tile was installed on all walls and floor. The tile work truly looks like a piece of art. He also worked efficiently—our first meeting covered the same level of detail in 30 minutes that other GCs took an hour for, which we appreciated. In the end, we went with another option, but Prime Design and Build remained a top contender throughout. There was never any high-pressure selling; instead, Ethan did everything he could to adjust the proposal to fit our budget. “We had a leak in our 2F bathtub which was done by another contractor. I was expecting the worst case scenario where we had to replace the whole bath tub, and that is when Roy's team came in. They were very fair about their quote, and recommended to first only charge the opening of the 1F ceiling to assess the leak. Daniel and the team worked really hard to find and fix the problem, so we ended up not needing to replace the bath tub and minimized the cost. We liked them so much that we plan to do a kitchen cabinet replacement with them soon.“
