“Silicon Valley Eye Physicians is the most comprehensive eye care clinic I have found yet here in the Bay Area. They have a different range of doctors that specialize in different areas. The facility is very clean and spacious. Jessica at the front desk is absolutely amazing. She is so friendly and takes great care of patients. Unfortunately, due to a health concern, my doctor referred me to an ophthalmologist. I called to ask how I can get a copy of my records over to my ophthalmologist. Jessica understood that their portal functionality is very limited right now and allows only one family member per email account, so she offered to email me my records. She left a vm, asking me to confirm my email address. I called back, saying it's ok, I'll be in in a couple of weeks anyways and I'll just provide it then. To my amazement, when I walked in today for my appointment, Jessica already had my records all prepared for me! My appointment took much longer than the one hour I was told, so I needed to dash off to another appointment right after. I didn't have time to go home to put my eyeglasses in their case, so I asked Jessica if she has a paper box or something so I don't accidentally break the only pair of glasses I have. She was so kind and found a box for me! Dr. Johnson is very good with little kids. I like how she errs on the conservative side when it comes to eyeglass prescription, so young children's developing eyes aren't immediately fixed at a higher optic correction. They also have opticians there that can prescribe atropine drops if needed, so you don't need to go to a separate clinic for that. Dr. Wu is great at fitting contact lenses. He was able to improve upon the prior doctor's prescription, and his contacts prescription offered me much better vision. The optics department is also staffed with great people. Heather and Marica are absolutely wonderful to work with. I went in last summer and purchased half a dozen eyewear for the entire family. The initial order had some mistakes. Heather stepped in and made sure everything was corrected and we got exactly what we ordered. Marica is so sweet and patient. I had problems with the eyeglasses I got from them and was explaining to her how another pair I got from overseas fit much better, but the lenses are wrong. She took the time to help me figure out the problem, and did some research to verify that they do have the ability to re-create my favorite lenses here for me as well. I'm so glad my family has this new clinic to go to now for comprehensive eye care. The staff there is knowledgeable, helpful, and caring.“
