I had my hair cut by Jules today and it started with a consultation where she asked me many questions to really understand what I wanted for my hair today. I loved how thorough she was. She then asked if I wanted a silent or an educational shampoo where she talked through the methods and products she was using. She helped me find products that would work and what ingredients to look for. She was very meticulous in her hair cutting and checked things over multiple times to make sure I was happy and that the curls worked. When she was styling she talked through how she was styling so I could do it at home. A wonderful experience and a lovely salon!
Madelyn did a fantastic job with my child's hair, and was super attentive to their hair type and style wishes. Thanks so much for the attending to detail and educationing us on the correct products and routine!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this salon deserved one.
I’m extremely cautious about who I trust with my hair. As someone with curly hair, I’m very particular, and I rarely let anyone touch, cut, or style it. My uncle recommended this salon, and since they specialize in curly hair, I decided to give them a try.
I’ve been here twice now, and both experiences have been wonderful. From the moment I walked in, the salon felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.
My stylist, Dama, was amazing. She took her time with my hair, was incredibly gentle, and explained everything she was doing so I understood the process. One thing that really stood out to me was her willingness to ask Capri, the owner and her teacher, for guidance whenever she wanted a second opinion. To me, that shows professionalism and a genuine commitment to giving clients the best results. I’d much rather have a stylist who asks questions than one who guesses, and I appreciated that so much.
Capri was wonderful as well. While she was teaching, I had the opportunity to listen and learn, and it was clear how passionate she is about education. She took the time to thoroughly explain techniques to Dama and another stylist, making sure everyone understood before moving on. She also made sure I understood what was happening with my hair, asked about my goals, and took the time to make sure we were on the same page.
The entire salon has such a positive atmosphere. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and supportive. One thing I especially appreciated was how comfortable they made me feel. I’m naturally pretty quiet and don’t always speak up if I have a question or concern, but here I genuinely felt like it was okay to ask questions and share what I wanted.
If you’re looking for a salon that truly cares about healthy curly hair, takes the time to educate both clients and stylists, and creates a warm, welcoming environment, I would absolutely recommend this salon. I’m so glad I gave them a chance, and I’m looking forward to coming back.
