“I am a retired health care professional, and I have been using NHC Menifee for the past several years. I followed a physician here from another practice, and he was my primary for several years. He retired and was replaced with another very competent provider, a NP. Unfortunately she just disappeared one day and nobody would say if she quit, or was let go, or moved, or what. I tried to follow her but was unable to find any information as to where she went. They assigned me to another doctor but I was unable to get an appointment for almost 90 days, so I quit this location and am currently looking for an alternative. I can say this, the staff are great, especially their telephone nurse hotline person. She was amazing. These people do follow up, all of them, and in a timely manner, for the most part. They do answer all of the portal messages within a few days, and they are pretty quick on RX refills. Unless you have special needs I would say this place is top notch. I think I can safely say that I would recommend them highly, with one exception, they seem to have a high turnover rate on providers. But, as far as I can tell all the providers are pretty good.“

“Arrived for my dad’s first visit. Lobby was full and not enough chairs. Was concerned this would be a sign of long wait times, however we were surprised how quick and smooth the visits were.
Saw the Oncologist Dr Larson very kind and patient. Dr Sun kind, patient and provided us with a-lot of education on his cancer. Appointments were both on time and all our questions and concerns we’re addressed.“

“I came into the clinic today, 02/06/26, for a TB PPD skin test and just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff here.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the LVN at the front desk (I forgot to catch her name), but from the very beginning she made me feel extremely comfortable. She is such a friendly, warm, and energetic person.
The other nurse in the back was amazing as well. Even though she did not provide hands-on care, she was still such a positive presence. She didn’t have to interact with me at all, but her words and advice truly stuck with me.
Both of them were friendly, upbeat, and welcoming. Because of these two, they truly made the rest of my day. I hope these wonderful staff members receive the recognition they deserve and know that they made a real impact.
A huge thank you to the team here—I hope other patients get the opportunity to receive care from them as well.“

“My 5 year old neurotypical doctor has been going to Dr.Ortiz since January 2024. She is exceptional! I addressed my concerns with her and she took them serious and referred me to a specialist to have any potential health concerns eliminated or appropriately cared for. After seeing the specialist she wanted us to see another specialist. One morning I returned her call and the office informed me she was the only doctor in and may not be able to return the call that day. We understood and told them to return the call when she can. Dr.Ortiz called 9PM that evening and answered any questions we have. The staff is communicative on my chart. However, the front staff is not friendly. Another con is our office visits have always been over 30 minute wait from our visit time.“
