“We'd been looking for a clinic to take us in to save our rescue kitten. After desperately calling and visiting other clinics, we ended up going to the Cal West Pet Hospital. They were the ONLY people who showed interest in our poor kitten, and they took mercy on us. Unfortunately, our kitten had to go, but we're thankful to Dr. Jurberg and Dr. Palm for being honest and for helping us the best they could. We will definitely come back to visit them. “If I could give 7 stars I would. I am a high anxiety dog mama as it is so she. It comes to my fur baby being sick or injured, good luck keeping me calm. Usually my boyfriend handles the vet visits but he was working so this was on me. I called last minute praying I could get my sweet girl in to see Dr Singh and somehow they made it happen day of. Esperanza and Melanie were sweet, patient, and put up with my antics and anxiety. I really couldn't as for a better veterinary practice to take care of our baby. I brought my dog in to have an ultrasound. I had previously discussed this over the phone with the vet. I was under the impression that a abdomen and chest ultrasound would cost around $500 to $600. When I dropped my dog at the vet this morning for this ultrasound I assumed that that was still accurate. When I picked her up they had done an abdomen and neck ultrasound instead which I totally understand.... in the moment you gotta do what you got to do, that's not a problem, I used to work in the hospital so I get that things change as you start looking for and discovering things etc What I don't understand is that when I asked the office staff to explain the price difference to me they sent out this person who was talking down to me, being condescending and rude with her words and her tone. She was referring to my wife as "confused" and also said "do you need to call her, did she not understand what the vet said," making me feel like somehow I'm the bad guy and that maybe my wife is dumb, or at least they think she is. Funny thing, after I checked with my wife, she said she never talked to the vet and never discussed pricing when the staff called to say Maddy was ready to be picked up. Also... this person was trying to put some paper in my hand showing "an estimate" that they had just created, an estimate that we never saw previously or signed, which means that paper had no actual meaning to it at all, so I wouldn't take it from her... She was being a little rude the whole time and when I said to her, and I quote , "I don't know why you're talking to me that way it's really weird" she got defensive and then walked away without explaining anything any further about the pricing discrepancy. While I was waiting at the front desk to pay the $750, I heard this person in the background complaining to all the other staff in the office about our interaction which made me feel really uncomfortable. So, I just paid and left. I don't really know if I should ever return here because I'm worried that this person will find a way to “

If you're anything like me, I will do anything and everything for my furbaby. I would go to ends of the earth for my dog. I've been very hesitant and anxious taking my dog to vet because he's a giant anxious furball. I've tried many other vets in the area, all whom lacked patience with my dog. In other words the other places, just labeled him excessively aggressive, instead of taking the time to let him get used to them, because he is anything but that.This vet and his staff are so wonderful and were so accommodating to me and my Max. They took all the necessary steps to ensure not only Max, but I was comfortable as well. I was thoroughly listened to and all my concerns were addressed. This place deserves all the stars plus more, they truly are amazing! “Dr. A and his entire staff have gone above and beyond for my animals. He is a veterinarian that really takes the time to explain what is going on with your pet. Elizabeth, (a long time tech at Dr. A's) is so extremely knowledgeable and she really loves animals.As busy as vet clinics have been over the past few years, Dr. A never rushes the appointment. I've had a few Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that I took to Dr. A over the past 10 years and he has treated them so well. I also have had cats that saw Dr. A. He is very gentle with them and his techs do a phenomenal job. I recently sent a few family members to see Dr. A and his team...they were also really happy with the care their dogs received.“

They scheduled an appointment for Ginger the same day and Dr. Raj took action and gave the medical attention to Ginger right away and eased my mind. “It's hard to get a timely appt. because the vets are very good. Our vets for over 40 years! Recently decided to close on weekends. That meant bringing my dog for emergency treatment at UCD. Oy! Over $1000 !! Twice in 1 year! Thank goodness for pet insurance or we would be broke! Impossible to find any vet open on weekends. But Dr Russum is the best vet in Solano County so we are grateful when he is available.“

So we needed to find somewhere for our German Shepherd. When we walked in with a smile and felt like this place could be good. The staff was very helpful thoughtful and made us feel right at home. I am so glad that we found them on yelp. They live up to all of the standards of the five and four star ratings that I saw on the reviews. Dr. Allison Inlow, was really good with our dog Cannoli. She was very gentle with him and had a lot of good recommendations and tips for his teeth as well as his dietary needs. Something most places don't really get into as much I noticed.
