“Was able to last minute schedule the day before for a facial . Had immediate response and was scheduled within 30 min for following day . The area has some street parking in the neighborhood back behind the building as well as by the grocery store . Building seemed clean and the room was prepped and ready on time . Facial was very nice and would recommend this place“

“I scheduled Sophia for 4 separate hair and makeup appointments for a week of festivities including my son's wedding and reception. She created multiple great looks for me. She is a perfectionist so when I tried to rush her, it was difficult to meet some of my planned timelines. This was not her fault by my ever-changing schedule. I would allot about 2.5 hours if doing both hair and make-up. I also have long hair which created more work. For my final look at the reception multiple people commented that I looked too young to be the grooms' mom. I really appreciated getting to know and work with her. Thanks babe!“

“Alicia was excellent! She is so easy to communicate with and super responsive during the entire process. On the day of my City Hall wedding, she put me at ease and made me look like an elevated version of myself. I went for a natural look, but wanted it to pop a bit for photography. She gave me exactly what I wanted for hair + makeup, and it lasted well throughout the day :) She is also really efficient - the total time was a little less than 1.5 hours. As someone who doesn’t love spending too much time getting ready, this was perfect for me. Lol. if you’re thinking about booking her, do it!“

“One word: transformative. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut professionally in 5 years before coming here, but Linda managed to reverse all the damage and split ends within an hour. Everyone I’ve showed my hair to says it’s stylish and beautiful. Linda is also really great company, very honest (she refunded me money for a color consultation when we decided to stick with my natural hair color) and is just an expert. I have not gotten such a good haircut since I left London. Linda brings this European sensibility to her haircuts and is just so, so talented. “I have been seeing and following Dede for over 20 years. I started seeing her at Maiden Lane when I was 15 years old and she was the first person to shape my eyebrows. I always get complimented on them thanks to Dede. She is incredibly talented and can texturize my eyebrows like no one else. Where Dede goes, I go! I am very particular about my eyebrows and love that she never rushes anything and takes the time needed. She keeps my eyebrows up to date on trends yet still keeps them classy and full. When it comes to eyebrows, Dede is la crème de la crème.“

“My partner and I got married at San Francisco City Hall recently and when I reached out to schedule a hair/makeup appointment, Robert was kind, responsive, and gave me all the information I needed to know. Aside from being a lovely, accommodating person who made me feel very comfortable in her cozy studio, Mei was a complete pro and did an amazing job! If I had the budget to also do a trial beforehand I absolutely would have, but considering I went in the day of with just a few small suggestions on what I wanted out of my look, Mei was able to work magic. She does a stunning natural makeup look, which was just what I wanted. For my hair, I only asked for something classic/vintage-inspired that was pinned up on the sides, and she took that and created such a beautiful and simple style. “I have never been to a SuperCuts or any other haircut place ever since I first went to Primp. Whenever I went to other haircut places, there were lots of issues. The waits were long, the place was loud and uncomfortable, and the stylists were unprofessional. I often left those places with a cut I didn't even like. Primp is the complete opposite of that. There is hardly any waiting (note, you need to schedule an appointment beforehand), the atmosphere is calming and welcoming, and the stylists are amazing at what they do. They clearly have experience and are skilled in treating all kinds of hair types. They'll make sure you leave looking exactly how you want to look, whether you're getting a haircut, a hairdo, makeup, or more.

The location is in a calm spot, its proximity to the train station being the only disturbance. Even then, that just makes this place more accessible by transit. There's usually parking nearby, and the convenience store next door is nice if you want a snack before or after your appointment. Overall, a 5/5 experience every time. Shout-out to Loulou!“
