“I've been getting facials and other services from both Kristen's for years (Kristen Marie & Kristen Dudum). They are both amazing!!! They are so gentle and inform you of the process every step of the way. You can easily book with them on their website. Their location in San Mateo is easy to find and has an ample amount of street parking. Inside their rooms, it is very peaceful and relaxing. Some of the services I have tried from them have been - nano-infusion, derma planning, peels, back facials, regular custom facials and most recently a hydraderm facial, which was great! I've always had problem skin and it's honestly never looked better. I've even gotten compliments for the first time in years. As an added bonus, they have a stamp card so you can receive a service for 25% on your 6th visit. Thank you so much, Kristen & Kristen!!“
“Michelle has been my hair stylist for the past 6 years and she is absolutely amazing at what she does!! She really takes the time to get to know you and your hair, to consult with you what style and service you should get, and works with you to determine what colors or cuts would look best on you. She uses only the highest end hair products and you can tell she truly cares about her clients and she really loves what she does. I love her work so much that even when I moved to Seattle I continued to fly back to California just so she could keep doing my hair as I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. Michelle is such a sweet and kind hearted person and she is so talented with hair. She’s truly the best!!“

“I've been going to Wholistic for years now, and it is always wonderful. If I let too long go between appointments, I begin to feel my face suffering. Ivonne is very professional but also very friendly and relaxing to spend a couple of hours with. You can get a general facial, or a more technical treatment for specific problems. Ivonne is very knowlegable! My teens have gone to her as well for acne treatments and have come home much more interested in caring for their skin than they ever were when I was telling them what to do. I highly recommend her whether you need specific treatments or just want to relax for an hour and come out looking lovely.“

If you're looking for somebody who has the experience, education and talent that is required to put out high quality results this is definitely the place for you. The reason I came to shine beauty studio is because I heard about the owner investing in a top of the line table so that her clients could have comfort while receiving their services. I have extensive back issues and getting my lashes done was always an issue for me. I can tell you that by far this was the best table I have ever laid on. So not only was I so pleased with the environment I was equally so pleased with the results my lashes or full and long and beautiful and they felt stable and strong like they weren't going to fall off. I know she has about 4 to 6 week wait time so definitely help on her calendar and make an appointment I promise you you won't be disappointed.“

“Yay! I'm so glad I came by Mia Bella Boutique Salon to get some TLC for my hair. The place is really cute and is located upstairs 2nd floor of the location. The ladies here are very friendly and professional. I got my hair done by Stephanie and she was so fast with the whole process. I did the Keratin mask and Brazilian Blow out - the whole process was 1.5 hour. You can tell they care about their clients because she was informational about the after care and will not let you leave unsatisfied :) check out this cute salon for all your hair needs!“
“Dixine Davis is an esthetician and make-up artist who runs a tiny shop located in the back of Elite Hair Design. Her services include: * facials * waxing * tinting * make-up appication, lessons, and consultation Dixine has over 30 years of experience and is excellent at what she does. I got a facial and brow wax, and had great results. On a special occasion, I had her do my make-up and was really pleased. I looked way better than when I walked in, without looking overly made up. Dixine knows a lot about beauty as former Miss South San Francisco, so I felt confident putting my face in her expert hands. I wasn't surprised to hear that she won "Miss Congeniality" years ago at her pageant. Dixine is personable and sweet, so all my interactions with her were fun.“

The cut is amazing (blowout is too) and she is beyond sweet. The other stylists in the salon were super friendly as well. Very clean and upscale salon with a great vibe. I will now be visiting whenever I am in town for work.“

She is so incredible, I have very fine straight hair and its always hard to get someone who knows how to layer it. She was patient and understanding and did such a great job. “Violet is the queen at the natural glam look! Violet did my hair and makeup for our engagement photos - she came over to my apartment with a mask and took all the necessary precautions to make me feel safe during these COVID times. Violet is so relatable and easy to talk to - we chatted about a wide range of topics and she gave me the rundown on how our wedding day would play out exactly. She started our session by addressing that I should feel comfortable telling her I didn't like something or if I wanted to adjust what she had already done. I ended up LOVING my look, but it is always so positive to have this stated right off the bat so you don't feel bad or pressured! Violet is also so comfortable with dogs, which is great for us because we have a golden retriever who was curious at what is going on. I highly recommend Violet - she is extremely reliable, not only does a great job, but makes you feel comfortable and beautiful once done! Her end product is so natural that you still feel like yourself!! She makes getting ready fun and takes all the stress away.“
