I searched the internet high and low for a new curly hair specialist on the west coast and I definitely found her, Ms Shannon T! (IG @ shannon_toliver) Luckily, she had one appt open in December as I was in desperate need but she is booked and busy! (Next one wasn't until February!) The area has lots of street parking, if you can find some. The salon, Hair of the Gods, is so unique, not your average studio! Shannon was very personable, asked me my likes/dislikes, and definitely knew what she was doing. Throughout the process, she explained what she would do and the products she used in my hair. Can't wait to visit again!

I recently switch hairdressers I was looking for someone who specializes in curly hair I love my previous hairdresser but unfortunately, our schedules did not connect so I made the decision to search luckily my friend referred me to Nick and I saw him first for a cut and let me tell you he brought me back to life revived my curls and took his time he is super sweet and down to earth I recently saw him for hair color :) and I feel like a new woman will definitely be seeing him regularly I love the decor super eccentric you will get the feel of being at a relative's house that's how comfortable you will feel everyone is really friendly

Geno's expertise in making you feel welcomed and cared for is par none. His many years of experience as owner and hair stylist shine in this remarkable nearly indescribable place. The esthetic is unlike any salon in San Francisco (the photos barely do it justice), spacious, warm, light-and-plant filled; the words 'serene', 'entrancing' and 'home-like', also don't quite capture it. It is clearly well-cared for, and so will you be.You'll be lucky if you can book with Geno - he's been cutting my hair for years, and I've known him since he was a 'baby hair apprentice' here in San Francisco "many years ago".
