The Good Guys Heating and Cooling were incredible! The technician, Jason, was the epitome of excellence. He came out to help us investigate why fiberglass was blowing through a couple of vents downstairs. After showing him our HVAC system, I knew we were in great hands. He was jolly, enthusiastic about his work, provided incredible insight into his observations, and just wanted to help. On his way out, I could have sworn I saw him put on a cape before flying off.
The roof and gutter repairs were very well done, beyond my expectations. The whole process from estimate to work done went well. The foreman, JJ, was fantastic to work with, especially when unexpected damage was found.
We are so in love with our newborn photos of Jack. Even though his session was a bit delayed (he made his grand entrance early and spent several weeks in the NICU), Katherine was absolutely incredible. She welcomed us in when Jack was 9 weeks old and still managed to capture all the sweet, sleepy newborn magic...she truly is the baby whisperer!
Her cozy little studio is like a dreamland of adorable props, soft blankets, and the tiniest outfits you've ever seen. She even had the exact hat and tail we needed to create our dream “Where the Wild Things Are” photo. Watching her work was like witnessing baby zen in action. So calm and so patient.

I went in at 37.5 weeks pregnant for my first appointment and felt lots of movement. she recommended coming in 2 more times to insure my baby flips so i went in once more a 38 weeks and then went to my doctors who confirmed she flipped. Anna came to our house yesterday and we had a great experience. She was patient and knowledgeable, she helped us with our bernedoodle Neo. The next day Neo took my shoes and I was able to get them back without a fight! That was a big win for me! When he started to get mouthy I followed her advice, I had no issue he stopped immediately. I will continue to work with Neo and he is very receptive to the training techniques Anna showed me. Very happy! Thank you Anna! PS. I took Neo to the park took him off leash he played with 5 other dogs no aggression, when I was ready to leave no issue putting his leash on and a nice walk home.

had the pleasure of meeting Chris Stohl, Project Coordinator with American Eagle Roofing, who came out to give me a bid on my mom’s mobile home roof. While he was up on the roof, he went above and beyond—he blew off all the leaves, including the gutters and downspouts, saving her about $200 in gutter cleaning costs! I sent Thomas Home Improvement a message on Thumbtack asking about driveway extensions and building a deck. They were professional and quick about their response, offering to work with me to do an online estimate or an in person estimate. We ended up hiring them to build a rather large deck out of Trex, and to pour a strip of concrete to extend our driveway. They were able to schedule the job quickly, and finished the whole thing in a week and a half! The best thing about working with them was that Jacob always checked in with me to prompt questions about the work he was doing. He would ask me to look around at the progress, and email him questions or concerns so that he could call me and address them, even if it was something we had already planned on doing. We absolutely love the result and we'd hire them again, no question.
I have been using Highlander as a pest company since I moved to Placerville. Jennifer is my tech and she is patient, nice, and takes the time to do everything right. I know she has other properties to service, but she doesn't rush the job just to get to the next one, she is excellent.

This office was INCREDIBLE!!! They were so attentive and loving. You could tell they really cared about our animals and cried with us when we had to let our cat go.
