“I love Studio City Animal Hospital. Dr. Sima has been my dog Fonzie’s primary care for the last 5 years. He is 16 and they take good care. at 16, he recently had to have a tooth extracted and dental work and go under anesthesia and they took such good care and time and energy to explain everything to me and give me the different options cause I was a nervous wreck, but it was all fine and they were very communicative and I so appreciate them.“

She’s extremely smart and very thorough in her analysis. She’s patient, listens and answers all questions that we may have. I highly recommend this place. “Today was my pup's first visit to Dr. Johnson to address a digestive issue which has stumped my usual vet for months.

On-site parking was plentiful. I was immediately impressed with the staff -- they took the time to ask a lot of questions about the reason for our visit and what had been going on with the dog. They really listened and offered a lot of valuable information before we even saw Dr. Johnson.

Dr Johnson took us exactly on time and was a breath of fresh air. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable, which have me a lot of confidence. Also, I never felt rushed. She took plenty of time to listen to the entire history and talk through what seems to be a very sensible and practical treatment plan.

These days, most vets (not to mention doctors) make you feel like just another number on their endless conveyor belt. That was definitely not my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff. They listened carefully, made me feel heard and took the time to make sure I understood everything they said. In my opinion, that is a level of professionalism and care very rarely seen these days!“

“I’ve been coming here for over 6 years. From the beginning the staff was kind, considerate, and transparent with pricing and options. The vets always explain everything and the vet techs love the pets. They even sent a condolences card when I let them know one of my dogs had passed. The card shared little memories from the vet and vet techs who knew him. It really touched our hearts especially when we were mourning. They always do follow up calls after visits and respond when we need some advice for our pup. “Dr. Chang and her team are the best around. We came to TACOE during the pandemic with our diabetic senior Dachshund when our vet closed suddenly. Our dog, Oreo, was cared for lovingly and we always felt the same. Sadly, Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge at the end of April, however we will always be grateful for the care we all received. “This vet clinic is way better than a national chain. My dog was misdiagnosed on a Saturday with pancreatitis at a national veterinary chain company, with that vet insisting she needed to be hospitalized for 3 to 4 days, minimum cost $5000. I love my dog dearly, but she is quite elderly, has major spinal issues and dementia problems, and she needs to constantly be with me or she stresses. Putting her in hospital would break her. That vet acted as if I were a horrible human. Worse, though that vet prescribed pain medication for her, he didn’t give his required vet code. Since it was a controlled substance, the pharmacy wouldn’t give it to me. So though he went on about how intense her pain was, he made it impossible for her to get the pain reliever he insisted she needed! Thank goodness Olympic Pet Hospital was recommended to me: They got me in at 10 AM on a Monday holiday! Dr. Lucia Kwon was kind and diligent. She truly listened to me. Not only did she prescribe an effective non-controlled substance but she made sure it would help with my dog’s spinal and nerve pain. When she discovered I had given a friend’s cat subcutaneous IV daily, she assured me I could do the same for my dog if her condition deteriorated and she needed help with fluids. That way, I wouldn’t have to hospitalize her if things got worse. I cannot speak more highly of this woman — knowledgable, thoughtful, gentle with my baby and reassuring to me. My dog was better in 1.5 days under her treatment protocol. I just wish I would have gone to her on Saturday; that would have saved me the $40O I wasted at the substandard national chain. And my dog wouldn’t have suffered for two days. I would give this clinic and vet 10 out of 5 stars if I could.“

“Been going to this Vet clinic for many years now. I always love their special rate when they have it on weekends. Dr. Sunada is really good with her pet patient. I highly recommend this place and it is also always clean and well sanitize. The staff are a hit and miss but mostly a hit.“

“Northridge Veterinary Center has been great for my dog’s care. Dr. Smith is always there, easy to talk to, and takes the time to explain things without making you feel rushed. While the pricing is a bit on the higher side, the level of care makes it worth it especially since my dog has diabetes and needs consistent, knowledgeable management. It’s reassuring to know my dog is in capable hands with someone who genuinely cares.“

“I came to Bastet Cat Hospital because my cat kept getting sicker and sicker over a period of two months despite constant vet visits and trips to the emergency room. I eventually concluded that my cat wasn't getting high quality care because most vets are trained to care for dogs. It's a larger market, and dogs come to the vet more regularly. So my cat was getting less attention than she deserved, and was likely being treated as if she were a small dog.
