I had an underarm keloid that had already been surgically removed by two different surgeons. Unfortunately, each surgery only made it worse. I was feeling discouraged and didn't know where to turn.

I originally came to see Dr. Pien for RF microneedling, and she took the time to carefully evaluate my scar instead of rushing into treatment. Last year, she recommended doing a small laser test patch first to see how my skin would respond. The results from that tiny test area were amazing and gave me hope for the first time.

Unfortunately, I became ill shortly afterward and wasn't able to return to complete the full treatment. Today, I finally made it back and had laser treatment on the entire keloid.

“Shout out to Anna! I was really pleased with her work and with how gentle she was. I didnt even know threading could be so gentle. By no means was she slow either, she was efficient and went above expectations. I went to her in rough shape, and my request was to recreate the natural eyebrow shape that I have, and to trim their length. She is also funny and not afraid to tell you how to care for yourself in this aspect. Her recommendation to me was to stop using a razor on my lip because that was why my hairs there hurt more to remove, and to get threading done every couple of weeks to get past the rough and ingrown hair phase left by using a razor, and to let the hairs grow on one side more because they are uneven at present.
