He worked with us on scaling the project to fit our budget and when one of the subs he used did not do a good job initially - Michael made it right on his own dime.
Installing the interior window allows light going both ways and looks great! But the best (and hardest) part was his custom installation of a sliding door with a complicated no-show rail system that glides with soft close. The floor wasn’t level and the door and hardware didn’t match but Michael made it look and function great and wouldn’t stop until he got it exactly right.
We are very grateful for his work and for working with him personally. Can’t recommend enough!“

2175 Francisco Blvd E, San Rafael“We just finished remodeling three bathrooms with Green Bay Remodeling in San Rafael and are very happy with the results. Our Project Manager, Noy Sharvit, was highly knowledgeable and
committed to insuring we got what we wanted and was very much on top of things on a nearly daily basis. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of the services we got from Green Bay was Noy taking me shopping to different stores to buy what we needed for the job. He made sure I bought things that would work for us, look good, and were of good quality that would last. He was never overbearing with his suggestions and always open to my wishes and taste, but it was a great comfort to me to know that he wasn't going to let me make mistakes or decisions I may regret later. All permits were handled with great efficiency.
His construction crew, led by Francisco Corona, was very friendly, polite, tidy, hard-working and highly skilled in their work. They showed up every day right on time. Any small problems were dealt with quickly and creatively, and their only concern was that my husband and I were happy.
We did the first two bathrooms together and the third bathroom a couple of weeks later. In both cases they finished before their original estimated completion date.
Of the three estimates we got for the remodels, Green Bay Remodeling was the middle range estimate. Bathroom remodeling is expensive, but our new bathrooms turned out even better than we'd expected.
I can honestly say that this was a trouble-free, anxiety-free experience. From day one to completion, I always knew Noy and Francisco were going to take care of us, and they did. I'm so grateful to them and to Green Bay for running a tight and honorable ship.“

Accomodations were made to do additional minor necessary work not originally in contract. Major damage that occurred during construction were fixed. Only caveat is that if there were any woodrot underneath the T11 wall siding, they will not check for it. Need to hire someone else to check this before they proceed with installing the new T11 wall siding next time.“

(Asbestos is banned and causes lung cancer) Reached out to Andrew contractors and Frank had the most rates. His crew was professional and helpful. Best thing I like about Frank is that he reached out and offer me home improvement advice even at no gain to himself. Through him I found a good HVAC contractor who was very responsive and and did a great job working on my home. I highly recommend going with Frank as he seems to pride himself in taking care of his customers.“

Then Sorin sent an estimate which was thorough and very fair in its price and scope. I talked with Sorin about possible modifications and he took the time needed to talk through my concerns. It’s no wonder he has all 5 star reviews! And I add mine. I highly recommend Feraru & Assoc“

Igor and Ilya were absolutely amazing to work with and I would highly recommend Reliable Remodeling & Renovation for any project! This was our first home renovation project and they made the overall experience great. Ilya was always available to answer any questions, honest, transparent and a pleasure to work with. The whole team was knowledgable, professional and respectful of our home. It was important for us to stick with the timelines and they made it happen. Ilya went over and beyond to ensure we are happy with the renovation. We absolutely LOVE our bathroom and kitchen remodel. We love our new home and couldn't have done it without Reliable Remodeling!“

1583 Arch St, Berkeley“We are very happy to have chosen Tinka Construction to remodel our bathroom. The result is exceptional. George was always quick to respond to any of my texts and emails no matter what the news may be. Our bathroom needed a complete teardown to expanding one wall out an additional foot. His crew was outstanding whether it be reconstruction of a wall, plumbing, electrical, painting or cleanliness. And to complement George's crew, he uses highly skilled third-party specialty contractors, such as, for our custom shower install. What amaze us most was how the work was all done as seamless as possible by being creative and resourceful at solving any potential obstacles or issues. We are looking to hiring George and his crew again on another project.“

5464 College Ave B, Oakland“Absolutely top notch. The Bay Area is filled with shoddy contractors who take ages to do mediocre or poor work. All Seasons is a bit pricier but is absolutely worth ever penny. They are professional, fast, efficient and do top quality work. My driveway looks incredible and the process (though a bit delayed due to the weather) was seamless and easy. They also did my foundation retaining wall several years back and also did outstanding work. If you want it done right, All seasons is the contractor to go with.“

1816 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley“I had the Nicholas Roofing team inspect my roof and quote a replacement. They were prompt to reply, reliable in showing up and communicating when they said they would, and offered a competitive quote and detailed quote and report on the state of my roof. They incorporated details I wanted done, such as adding insulation and sky lights to my roof, and made this conversation easy. Most importantly to me, they were honest about the level of work my roof needed, and thanks for their honesty, I learned my roof had a few more years in it before I needed to replace it - this is what I am looking for in a great contractor. Months later when I asked for a written assessment of their inspection for another use, they just emailed it over no questions asked, and didn't try to upsell me into a new inspection or something. I really appreciate this team as honest, reliable. Nicholas roofing will be my first quote when it's time to get my roof done.“

11360 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito“I've used Olivero Plumbing for a couple of years now and had nothing but the best result. Some of the jobs were small, like unplugging drains; some of the jobs were bigger. The results were always super, and not only that, they were very economical - much less that other bigger companies I've used in the past.
They are very responsive, reliable, friendly, and professional. They're a local, family-owned business, and by now I feel like I'm part of the family. (Special shout-out to Steve, who's wonderful, and to Julie in the main office who does scheduling and billing and whatever else. I'm going to have them put in one of those Japanese toilets (forget what you call them) in a small bathroom without a sink so the toilet has the sink on top so you can wash your hands and that water does the flushing.
In short, I can't give a higher recommendation. Olivero Plumbing is the best!“

1164 Solano Ave Suite #175, Albany“We can’t say enough good things about Hometelligent. Our home ended up needing a complete remodel that we were not expecting, and we were honestly extremely overwhelmed at the start. From the very beginning, Silvio and his crew brought clarity, professionalism, and confidence that made the entire process feel manageable. They took something stressful and made it so much easier every step of the way.
They handled every phase of the work with outstanding quality and efficiency, and their attention to detail really showed. Communication was consistent, they finished ahead of schedule, and the job site was kept impressively clean the entire time. Every crew member treated our home with real care and respect. On top of all that, their pricing was fair and transparent, which gave us even more peace of mind. The finished result truly exceeded our expectations.
We now have a home that feels solid, refreshed, and beautifully restored. We’re genuinely grateful for their hard work, integrity, and the way they supported us through a project we never saw coming. If you’re looking for a contractor you can trust with a major remodel, Hometelligent is the team to call. We would recommend them without hesitation.“

2534 Florida Ave, Richmond“Thank you to Bay Countertops, we are so happy with our downstairs rec room kitchen counter and custom island top (both in blue/gray granite) and the work you did! Efren and his team including Lauren, Tina and Robert and the installation crew were so knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. (Additional big thank you to Lauren for communicating with us so thoroughly from beginning to end, even on your days off and after hours!) We appreciate the time & effort everyone put in to work with us on budget as we navigated through various material choices, dimensions, layout options, last minute changes, and customizations. Whether for measurements or installation, scheduled appointments happened as agreed and without delays (thanks so much Tina for keeping us on track!) The installation crew arrived on time, on the agreed date, with beautifully cut granite and then did a beautiful job with placement, polish, sink installation, and debris removal (thanks also for all the maintenance advice!) We are so happy we found Bay Countertops and and are in process of asking them to estimate other upcoming projects. We also love that they are a local privately owned small business :)“

953 W MacArthur Blvd, Oakland“Anderson Moraes has been the general contractor with me on two new construction residential projects as well as a gut renovation of an existing house. I’m an architect that’s done several projects in east bay and worked with many contractors, often on fairly tight budgets. Anderson is one of the only contractors I’ve hired repeatedly as he’s easy to work with, attentive to details, and I appreciate that not only can he oversee complex projects, but he also has a furniture shop and is able to fabricate items for the interiors. It’s rare to find a contractor that will take on small to mid size residential projects at competitive prices that’s also willing to take on furniture scale interior work.“

1096 Yerba Buena Ave, Emeryville“Ken is wonderful person and excellent at his job. He first started wroking for me when I bought my 1926 home in 1998. It needed absoultely EVERYTHING. He put in a new water line from the street, bolted and sheer walled and reinforced a major beam to earthquake-proof it, all new electrical and copper plumbing, beautifully finished a large part of the home that only had a cement floor and sink with no interior walls, completely remodeled one bathroom, rebuilt an entire side of my home due to undetected termite rot, hooked up all my appliances and more. What I paid is irrelevent because it was so long ago.
What is relevant is that Ken is a magician. Every time you are upset about something not going right (because that will always happen with any big job), he will come into the situation and figure out a solution that makes everyone happy (including a highly problematic architect). I'm totally serious about this. This skill alone is worth everything. His crews' craftsmanship is excellent. He finishes work within the time estimates. This is how good of a contractor Ken is: He has been working in the East Bay since the late 1970s and since the 1980s he has been living in the same home in North Berkeley to the present. You will always be able to contact him. He will always get back to you right away.
In terms of cost, I think he is right in the middle--not expensive and not inexpensive for contractors in the Bay Area.
Ken has helped me with many small problems that have arisen over the decades (painting my house, leaking roof; leaking at bathroom window; flooding occurring at my exterior bedroom door; etc.), and he always comes by to give me his time and advice and to hook me up with reliable people who can help me at the lowest cost.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful Ken is to work with.“

“We purchased an 1883 Victorian on the brink of demise form decades of differed maintenance. Best Home Remodeling worked with us on MANY parts of the restoration. I can’t say enough nice things about Haim and Edgardo. The most important things they bring to a project, in my opinion, is their vast experience and knowledge. I learned quickly to reach out to them right away for advice before doing anything. They understand what I’m trying to do when I’m not even sure and know what needs to be done first when I couldn’t do the whole project at one time. They see ways to do things that I would never have thought of. They are great at explaining why things should be done one way over another or just suggesting a better fit - all the while keeping the overall goals and budget in mind.
They have always gotten back to me quickly when I have a question about an ongoing project or just an idea for the next projet.
Their work is amazing! I have recommended them to many of friends. Finding a good contractor is hard! I am so lucky to have found Best Home Remodeling
To anyone considering a full home renovation, a kitchen or bathroom remodel/renovation in the East Bay: If you value quality, communication, and a remodeling partner who truly cares, Best Home Remodeling Inc is everything you could hope for.
I am deeply grateful to Haim, Edgardo and their whole team for their patience, transparency, and quality craftsmanship.
I would hire them again anytime!“
